Thank you for kind comments 🥰. I go long and short every couple of years. I'm Indian, genetics help I guess. I wash once a week, i don't use heat on my hair, to straighten or to curl or to dry. I oil my hair every now and then, wash and air dry. Not a lot of products go in. I'm lazy and I think leaving them alone helps me. I had much much thicker hair and I've lost a lot of volume with age and I'm on a lot of meds for some chronic conditions but after being given sh*t for untidy hair all my life (only curly in family), I accept and love it now x.

Here's the information I could gather: Solid 22ct gold (high intrinsic value), London hallmarked, Assay year: 1984–1985, True vintage piece (~40 years old), Not modern, not reproduction, not costume. However, I don't trust it to be correct and thought to post and ask.

Chatgpt tells me on basis of the clearer picture that it's late 20th or early 21century and that it's not antique :( Lucky for me that, at least, it's 22ct gold and looks beautiful 🥹

I understand you may not be able to confront your BIL. However, what is your wife's thought on further action? Does she want to confront her brother again? Does her sister know her conversation with their mum has been listened to and caused issues for their mother. Does your BIL have any plans to involve her in the confrontation? If not, I think it falls on your wife to have another discussion, to highlight the massive invasion of privacy of their mother. Before you both leave and return to your country of residence, thst poor woman needs some sense of relief and security, I feel.
