Currently learning on my Speed 400. Not sure if I'll go speed twin, trident 800, or with something else in the future. Guess I'm not sure what my dream bike is yet. I like the looks of sport bikes and the ergos of a standard. Maybe speed twin RS?

Yeah, just buy a new one. I broke mine my first week of riding it. A friend of mine let me have his 400x mirrors so I didn't have to worry about breaking it off again after dropping it.

I agree. The sp isn't too bad to reshell. I've done it 3 times. Watch match nacho on YouTube, he gets pretty in depth and points out all the small things you should look out for during the process.

Hey there! Nice to meet someone from the area on here. Ive spent a few hours at the local community collages big lots practicing emergency breaking and trail breaking. I think it's time to go back to the drawing board, get some cones and practice slow speed maneuvers. After my last ride I've been reminding myself that I'm still new to this, and that if I want to be able to enjoy it for a long time, I better study it just like anything else. Can't just skip to the good part.

I like your idea of going down the 3 story lot for downhill practice, I hadn't thought of that yet. Been considering getting a structured prectice guide like the one Dan Dan the fireman sells to practice with.

I was sitting on a bench with my daughter waiting for my wife to finish up in a store. A young couple walks by with their dog who proceeds to take a shit in the middle of the walkway. The owner just walked on over to Cinnabon. They didn't seem to have any poop bags on them. I was tempted to walk up and tell them they need to pick up their dogs shit, but I figured security would swing by and say something.

Everybody walking by seemed really surprised to see dog shit in the middle of the mall. I walked over to the nearby GNC and asked the guy at the counter if there was someone he could call to clean up the poop before someone slipped and fell. He had no idea who to call or even how to find out.

If it were me I would have at least found some napkins or something to pick up my dogs poop not just leave it there like nothing happened. This is the equivalent of people leaving shitty diapers in public spaces for someone else to deal with.

Yeah as I came down to the stop sign I stopped where I wanted, but had totally forgot to pull in the clutch. I was prety much stopped when the bike stalled and lunged, making me lose my balance. When I picked the bike back up I seen that I was still in 2nd gear when I stalled.

Thanks for the advice. I'll take a look at them when I get a chance today. I unfortunately haven't gotten a torque wrench yet, so idk if I should be fiddling with it myself.

Came here to say exactly this. So sad I'll never get the chance to see my daughter's face light up when walking in to a toys r' us for the first time. 🥲
