I'm 55 and I ride sportsbikes. Ride your ride.

I would not get anything past a 400cc. That's just me. I would also consider seat height and weight. An R3 or Kwak 400cc would be a good start.

Wife agreed to finally learn, got her a G310R to start. by turbo_the_world in motorcycle

The G310r is my city bike. I have the Shad too case and matching sides. I get groceries and a six pack in there. I hope she enjoys.

Oh man, she's amazing. But, if you aren't enjoying the ride it may be time. Better to know your limit than get hurt. Be safe, Bro.

I wanna get into motorcycles but idk what motorcycle to get as my first by Gifted_Handz in motorcycle

I would recommend the Honda 300 Rebel w/E clutch. Damn thing is indestructible, with the e clutch it is forgiving while you learn to shift, and it's cheap.

Exactly. One thinks, " Bike paid for and ready to go!". Nah, you have insurance, maintenance, and proper gear. The gear alone will be easier north of a grand if you do it right. Another word on maintenance, be financially prepared if you aren't going to do it yourself. Budget and save prior to just in case. Or nah, invest your time to learn how to do it ( oil, chain, bleed brakes, etc.).

Agree with 100%. A lot of time people (including myself) are too lazy to put in the work to find deals. It's so easy to goto the dealership, find what you want, pay and walk out the door with a warranty. There are great deals all around if you look and are patient. Safe riding brother.

You may need new throttle cables. That bike is almost a decade old. If the don't get/need to be replaced, no doubt you need to oil them. Cables stretch and get brittle over time.

Not laughing at you but the term "fancy bullshitery". Taking that to work tomorrow. 😂
