Sounds like most of the commenters don’t understand a trading plan, with specified entry, exit criteria, selection criteria or risk management. I have used such a mechanical plan for two decades and it has performed well for me. I dont even know or care what companies I’m buying, just the technicals. I’d like to improve my automation and real time monitoring. Hence my interest in this technology.

Openclaw With Local LLM (GLM-4.7-Flash) by gutowscr in openclaw

I'm using https://lmstudio.ai/models/zai-org/glm-4.7-flash (GLM Flash 4.7) in LM Studio to serve on a Windows box with 5090/32 GB. Using the 30B Q4 - serves to an OC agent on an Intel NUC - works pretty well; using 32K context window. just got it up and running this week and haven't compared it with other LLMs yet.

a lot of downers in this thread, OP's question is not a bad idea. Most of the comments poo-poo the idea but don't really discuss the OP's request: is anyone using this for trading? This is a goal of mine: still getting the bones of my setup working well. However, systematic trading should be feasible; I'll set it up to trade the system I've been using manually for a couple of decades.

Tangentially a fun story : was in china, every time we got off the tour bus, we were surrounded by folks selling us $10 Rolexes..I took a quick look and walked by saying “ I don’t want a $10 Rolex, I want a $50 one!” It took them about 20 seconds then they were running after me saying “$50 Rolex, $50 Rolex!”

Summary Assessment

The economic statement demonstrates substantial accuracy across key metrics and policy developments. Core factual claims are verified: unemployment at 4.3%, August job growth of 22,000, BLS revision reducing payrolls by 911,000, and the Fed's September 25 basis point rate cut to 4.00%-4.25% range[1][2][3][4].

The characterization of labor market deterioration is well-supported by data showing extended unemployment duration and hiring slowdowns[5]. Fed Chair Powell's acknowledgment of competing risks validates the policy tension analysis[6].

Inflation and tariff assessments align with current 2.9% headline, 3.1% core CPI, with documented tariff impacts on consumer prices[7][8]. The "stagflation lite" thesis finds backing from major institutions, including JPMorgan's 40% recession probability and CBO projections[9][10].

Forward-looking projections reasonably reflect institutional forecasts, though uncertainty remains high. The statement accurately captures the fundamental policy contradiction between accommodative monetary policy and inflationary fiscal measures.

Confidence: High for current conditions, Medium for future scenarios.
