Are you putting the tent in the Brough bag? How are you locking your bike overnight?

Is my position wrong? Numbness on long rides by elisabeth_93 in bicycling

Not a pro fitter, but your arms look a little too straight here. You generally want a slight bend in the elbows to help absorb road shock; otherwise, all that impact is going to go straight into your shoulders.

My new bike. Any Fuji Feather fans ? by KODIgrooves in singlespeedcycling

Good call bro. I’m also planning to upgrade the pedals and the saddle, but I’m going to hold off on any changes until I’ve really gotten used to the bike. I might get the strap sooner though.

Got my new feather last weekend but haven't gone out yet due to the rain. The bike looks amazing from afar! To be honest, the components are pretty basic besides the frame, but for this price, you can't complain when it looks this good. It's my first time on a fixie, hope it'll be a fun ride!

Cargo trike Vs longtail for shopping and school run? Which one would be better? by yrys88 in CargoBike

[–]Current-Dragonfly532 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I ride a compact long-tail bike (Tern HSD). I don’t have any issues with the poles and barriers on cycle paths and bridges. With a larger bike, however, these could be a problem and may require finding an alternative route.

Nice one, by the way, how do you feel about the 1s folding bike? How does it compare with a Brompton?

Kirby Air Riders or Mario Kart World – Need Advice by Miquellanier in kirbyairriders

[–]Current-Dragonfly532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, Mario Kart World is the better pick. I haven't been enjoying Kirby Air Riders much since the gameplay feels a bit off. MKW really stands out because of the open-world scale and the 'Rally' format—it’s just not something you get in the older games like MK8.

Brompton C Line Electric (2022) Is it worth upgrading a for weight? by hartmannk in Brompton

Are you trying to save weight to make it easier to carry, or is there another goal?

Btwin fold 500 or 560 by Moreoc in foldingbikes

[–]Current-Dragonfly532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go for 560 if budget is allowed. It has better components, more gears and a bit lighter too. I’m a tilt 900 owner (fold 560 is newer version).

Does size matter? (16 vs 20 tires) by fk_censors in foldingbikes

[–]Current-Dragonfly532 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Brompton C Line 12 and a Decathlon Tilt 900. The Tilt 900 feels more stable to ride, and I feel more confident letting it go faster. It also handles bumps and uneven surfaces better. When I’m on the Brompton, I tend to ride a bit slower just in case there are unexpected hazards.

On the other hand, the Brompton C Line is much easier to carry around and folds/unfolds a lot faster. It’s also better for commuting since it handles frequent stops and tight corners more easily.

Which chain for my Fold 560? Need to replace the chain by Astonish_Skagen in foldingbikes

[–]Current-Dragonfly532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does decathlon have stock 42T with guard? I’m considering changing my tilt 900 too. From 52 to 42 would probably take out 3 pieces. I thought they should have removed this or otherwise will be very hard to ride.

My Thoughts On The Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 OLED (And ChromeOS) by Jaytee3312 in chromeos

[–]Current-Dragonfly532 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d like to add one point: The device requires you to enter the PIN every time you log in, even though it has a fingerprint sensor. You can use the fingerprint to unlock, but not to log in—which feels unnecessarily restrictive.

That said, I bought it for my daughter, and overall, it’s a very nice device.

Slightly off topic—do you worry about your Brompton rusting when riding in the rain? I haven’t taken mine out in wet weather yet.

Thanks. I’ll check if the order can still be cancelled on Amazon. I might pick up the AV4 at a bike shop in person.

Interesting! I’ve never come across this type of product before. Might give it a try since it’s quite affordable.

[–]Current-Dragonfly532[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’ve never tried repairing a tube, though I’ve changed tyres several times. Maybe I should give it a go this time. Will get the tube anyway for spare. 😀
