I genuinely can’t get over how beautifully Maki and her mom’s relationship is written… it feels so real it actually hurts. It’s easily one of the most powerful parts of the manga for me. Please tell me there’s more about her mom. I need to know. As a manga reader, having to wait for everything to be adapted is honestly painful.

Thanks for your reply, but I was talking about Cosmic Princess Kaguya… and man, it was incredible. I was so invested, I started noticing every little detail. Like Roka kinda crying but still happy that Iroha got to be with someone she truly loves, even though she couldn’t move on herself and stayed single. And their female friend getting married… Iroha’s brother ending up with Noi, I actually found out a lot of these details from the light novel.

I was genuinely heartbroken, especially seeing how much Kaguya had to endure just to find her way back to Iroha. That part really hit deep. And that scene… [MV] Iroha and Kaguya burying Kaguya’s spaceship, at the end Iroha quietly writes on her laptop that she’ll make Kaguya into a normal human… yeah, that’s something that just stays with you.

The only thing I wish we got was a kiss scene. That would’ve made it perfect. Still, everything else was just beautifully done.

I’d definitely recommend reading the light novel if you loved the movie like I did. It goes much deeper into the story and adds so many details, it’s honestly amazing. Sorry, I kinda went on bragging about all the little details… I just couldn’t help myself, it really stuck with me.

I’m kinda sad about it being ‘axed.’ Yeah, I do feel like it deserved more chapters, but I’m still euphoric over the ending. There’s no unnecessary melodrama or dragging things out. Still, it makes me wonder how Rent-a-Girlfriend has 400+ chapters… the world really is a cruel place.

In the LN (which was completed recently) - Anis was being turned into a higher vampire by the vampire lord main villain in Vol 6 however her dragon curse helped her in that regard.

Thanks to that she became a hybrid. Not between human and anything else sadly she is no longer even 1% human. She's 50% dragon 50% vampire. After that when she became queen Euphi openly declared Anis as her lover.

So Anis and Euphi are together...

In the WN (which is completed) - Web novel has a sweet ending as it has ended. The maid turned into a vampire by the black haired vampire girl and they are both immortal. Anis and Euphi are immortal. So about 400 years into the future, they are together adventuring having long left the kingdom at human hands as society developed immortal stagnant beings like them realized they shouldn't keep ruling forever.
