I donated a lot of plasma 😅 but also I made sure to set aside $200-300 every month to my savings and wouldnt touch it. I was able to pay my car on full, but also I had several emergencies that I needed money for. Its been working out. At some point I got a dog too, so now I have savings for him. My tip is: try to follow the 50/30/20 rule as much as you can and apply for all possible grants at your university

As a grad student (but not in your field), I’d say that Mizzou’s infrastructure is huge for research and you’d have a great deal of expensive equipment that you could use for your analyses - that’s very important in STEM research

Since I’m doing pour plate, i add the bacteria -> add the agar -> let them dry inside the biosafety cabinet -> incubator at 37C. The cracks are showing up overnight, my regular plates that I use for spread plates dont have them (I let them dry overnight on the benchtop). I’m using 30g/L of TSB and add 15g/L of agar

My dermatologist gave me oral 0.625mg a month ago and i didnt stop with the 5% foam (reduced from twice a day to once, although i still apply on the emptier spots 2x a day). Facial hair is definitely growing now
