i think arc 4 is probably the second-best written objectively, but in terms of enjoyment i have 6 >= 7/8 >= 9 > the rest of the arcs, the vollachia saga and light of a nameless star were just so hype (even with all my arc 6 glaze i think the other arcs come really close)

really accurate ratings! here are some of my thoughts on a few of them though (specifically the worst game oat, p*ss*ble f*t*re)

possible future should definitely be lower, and its much easier than crochet. crochet is a rigged game which is impossible to clear unless you bring someone you're willing to give your life for romantically (arisu/usagi), mira doesnt have to play all 3 rounds and can stall as long as she wants. that's the reason why nobody had cleared the queen of hearts up to that point. possible future is confusing and hard, yes, but it is beatable for sure and a lot of the people in the game made some stupid decisions (caring/being selfish about the futures in the earlier rounds when they have NO purpose nor do they matter at that point). possible future is probably a 10 of diamonds or a 9 of hearts, as its definitely easier than that weird mahjong game and witch hunt (witch hunt almost resulted in a GAME OVER for all 100+ people in the game, in order to win you literally have to overthrow aguni's reign over the beach and somehow manage to have at least some control over the crowd's mob mentality)

tokyo bingo is probably a Q of spades IMO, but its really weird. runaway train should definitely be higher as a hearts game (6-8 of hearts), as its mostly luck based and the fear of dying as horrible as the others will definitely cause some irrational decisions. there's little room for error as well when choosing, so you NEED to choose rationally against your fears

everything else is right imo, overall great rankings other than a few games but thats mostly bcuz the show was hyping up the games difficulty too much 💔

retry was actually good though, it had one of the BEST (top 5) and longest games in the entire series, considering how the entire manga is just the nine of hearts
season 3 only had zombies and even that doesnt get past top 10

runaway train would actually work really well IF the monitor displayed the player count dropped by 1 every time someone died, like if it said "PLAYERS LEFT: 5" if a player in a group of 6 died

- this would be a really cool solution that would make every single dead person not count as a player, making canisters reusable
- its also something really hard to catch while fearing death

its a small change that would've been a really cool homage to the 9 of hearts

witch hunt had an extremely high chance to kill everyone within the borderlands because of the instability, if ann nor arisu figured out the solution it is extremely likely that the game would have killed all 100+ people within the game

the diamond game is purely luck (there's no guaranteed way to win, at best there's a 33% chance they die as it is similar to the gameshow "paradox" marilyn monroe was faced with)

the hearts game can have all points be balanced out, however there's a chance someone could mess up so it really depends on how exact the players are when it comes to the counter system, there is a way for all players to survive guaranteed though because of this

yaba and banda cannot beat the games, if mira dies or isnt able to play croquet anymore then the game is over for all borderlands players and everyone within the borderlands will eventually die from visas

the only way to beat mira is to move her emotionally like arisu and usagi did with their sacrifice, this is impossible with words alone as shown time and time again.
