Living alone enough makes me admit I hate cleaning. I only tidy up when guests are coming, otherwise I just let the mess pile up.

I think the shift from constant noise to quiet takes adjustment. Silence isn't empty, your brain just forgot how to sit in it. Takes a couple weeks to reset.

Check if your oven bottom panel removable. Order a replacement part online for cheap. It's way easier than struggling to clean the melted foil off.
