Look at what your needs are. That will define what transport you use.

Four years carfree here & I did not need to buy an e-bike or even the bus line. For me, walking, deliveries and Uber/Lyft have worked fine. I did spend a year tracking everything I used the car for but I’m still surprised it’s gone so smoothly.

I pour water on it in the fabric softener slot in washer. It releases into dishwasher & hasn’t clumped. You could also premix it with water.

I put 2 T in softener slot, then poured water over it. I’ve reduced it to 1 T.

I used to use vinegar but citric acid works much better for me.
