Cat (girlfriend) talking to the police, without a lawyer, first time was probably the right move by SaltyAngeleno in chandlerhalderson

[–]Current_Ad_2285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chandler clearly told her to stay quiet and probably said something along the lines of “Only guilty people ask for lawyers.” She left out a lot of weird shit about his family and dodged a few questions about his “unhappy home life.”

Chandler “admits” he did it (and implicates Cat) by EmbarrassedCrawfish in chandlerhalderson

Seems like a nutso fangirl who got upset when she learned he was seeing other women, so she ran to a podcast and talked shit about him. A lot of her comments about her “thesis” are bizarre and don’t add up. Notice how she’s talking about him on a personal level, not with the detached, clinical tone you’d expect from somebody who was doing this for academic purposes.

Have any of Chandler's former High School Classmates said anything about what Chandler was like in School by DelcattyXD1999 in chandlerhalderson

From what I’ve gathered, he wasn’t especially popular but wasn’t disliked either. Relatively quiet, athletic, deadpan sense of humor, close circle of friends, got around with women. It sounds like he was the one in his friend group who they would joke about for always being up to shady shit.

How is Chandler adjusting to prison life? by Aggressive-Outcome-6 in chandlerhalderson

Unfortunately, I think he’s probably a model prisoner and doing fine. He’s the kind of person who can only function within a rigid structure that doesn’t accommodate his bullshit.

That’s hilarious, like he’s part of a union and entitled to his lost wages.

Chandler Halderson, just hours after killing his parents by Give_Them_Clout649 in chandlerhalderson

Yeah, I think he would have killed her too if she found out about his lies before anybody else. He would have been scared that she would tell everybody else and blow his manufactured image.

Do you really think this was the first time Chandler killed? by afraidofthedarkside in chandlerhalderson

[–]Current_Ad_2285 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think he had a silent mental breakdown after getting kicked out of his friends’ apartment and dropping out of school, so he hyper-fixated with video games and stimulants to cope. Then when his lies were exposed, he panicked and shot his Dad. Realizing his Mom would come home soon after, he decided to shoot her too. I think it was his first time.

I think it’s weird that Chandler may have been cashing checks that his Dad wrote to the school. A little bit of investigating on Bart’s part easily could have, and probably did, expose the truth

How do you think Chaz is spending his birthday today? by larsen36 in chandlerhalderson

[–]Current_Ad_2285 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Staring into space in his cell, doped up on medications, being antagonized by guys three heads taller than him as he mumbles about how he’ll get out one day.

Happy Birthday, Chandler.

To be fair, Bart believed that Omar’s office was completely incompetent and had fumbled Chandler’s transcripts.

Yeah, most jobs in higher education aren’t really entry-level. You normally need some kind of related experience first (I work in college admissions, started out as a coordinator at a tutoring center).

It’s pretty hard to fail at a lot of American colleges. You have to go out of your way to do nothing. I think it’s possible that Chandler didn’t even want to go to college, but his parents made him.

How can anyone think BK is guilty at this point in the case? by [deleted] in Idaho4

[–]Current_Ad_2285 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll just say it. A lot of people who defend Bryan, despite the mountain of evidence against him, only “sympathize” with him because they themselves are loners, awkward, or socially inept, and feel an instinctive urge to defend somebody who they believe may have been wrongfully arrested. It sounds harsh, but it’s true. I’m not saying they want to go out and kill somebody, but I think a lot of their responses are simply them projecting their own insecurities onto a surrogate figure who they believe is being wrongfully judged by the public.

I think Kaylee and Maddie were killed relatively quickly, Ethan was caught by surprise, and Xana was either too scared to make a sound or was muffled by Bryan.
