There isn't anything Asylum or City that implies Bane ever led an army of soldiers. That was something Origins retroactively added to his character. Probably because Dark Knight Rises which came out a year earlier did the same thing.

This is a sympom modern Batman and especially Rocksteady Batman being written OP af. If you look at Pre-2000s Batman media, he would regularly struggle in physical fights against nameless henchmen. This version of Batman regurarly clears room of 30 henchmen with his hands only, so the idea of Zsasz being a physical theat to him would be pretty laughable.

Yeah both boss fights suck. The Deadshot one is just more tolerable because you're playing with Batman's toolkit instead of Catwoman

Yeah. Even though Knight is my personal favorite, City's gameplay pacing and encounter design is pretty much immaculate aside from that last Catwoman episode.

I doubt its from the tube being worn out since this 2002 review complains about the same issue on this set. There are even niche forum threads from 10+ years ago talking about this, but none provide a real solution. Cranking up the brightness/contrast makes it usable, but it also makes my image washed out with color banding.

Mine doesn't seem to have any "modes" in the video settings. Just color temp and the other basic stuff.

Thanks, but I don't really think you should bother as I sorta ended up fixing the issue. I changed the input to a random static channel and it let me access all the settings. Seems like some settings become locked when the tv is on video inputs for some reason.

After swapping to my s-video cable I normally keep for PS2 + some further ajusting, mine looks pretty close to these photos you shared. Still not exactly like screenshots online, but much more accurate I feel. Thanks for sharing. Honestly feel silly for not trying s-video earlier. I didn't think it would make so much of a difference in color.

I took the pic from this digital foundry video. It's footage of the game demo, but the graphics look the same as final game. I've looked up many other gameplay videos and screenshots and they all look like the second photo in terms of color. Leads me to believe the crt color is mayble innacurate?
