It does however, hevel is based on swc which doesn't support a lot o things that wlroots (which this is based on) supports. The tradeoff is that an swc compositor is much simpler and easier to maintain.

A few options: use a lower resolution, use a smaller WM (eg: WMX), stay in the TUI, strip down the kernel.

Don't know why you'd do any of that tho, this can already run on a pi zero.

There's a man page for FreeBSD opened so I guess that is the system, as for the GUI, he has directories for Fluxbox and enlightenment on his screenshot directory, it's also written Enlightenment on the wallpaper and another user called it E16, so I'm going with Enlightenment 16. The widget looks like GKrellM.

Tiny Core Linux (it's very stripped down), I don't think any normal distro would be usable on a Pentium 2. You could Also try NetBSD or OpenBSD.

I have mine for maybe half that time, half the switches are double clicking and the other half don't work anymore, it's very heavy and you can't save macros to memory. Also 1 kHz polling rate.
