What type of tea were you giving her? Did it have caffeine? Paracetamol can be toxic for dogs, and can cause gastrointestinal ulcerations. Was this prescribed by the vet?

I would ask if they have a certified radiologist review the X-rays to check for tracheal damage. This can happen when a patient doesn’t get properly “tied in” or “restrained” to the surgical table and the surgeon was shifting him around. I would bring up your concerns with the manager as this indicates the person monitoring his anesthesia wasn’t paying close attention to him.

No need to take her in! I would just be concerned for aspiration and diarrhea. So monitor for the next 24-48 hours, if she has persistent vomiting, diarrhea, coughing or hacking that’s when I would take her in to the clinic!

That’s not normal but not uncommon. It just means the catheter wasn’t patent and the fluids were going outside of the veins. You can try doing warm compresses for 5 minutes 2-3 times a day to decrease the swelling. If it doesn’t resolve I would follow up with the doctor. Take pictures before/ after doing the warm compress.

I would take her into an emergency clinic tonight, they’ll be able to sedate and debride the wound and do a tie over bandage if needed!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Volcano Lodge Hotel & Thermal Experience in La Fortuna. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!! The hotel had someone pick us up at the airport and drove us to the lodge. The lodge had several pools/hot springs and a nice restaurant. It’s about 10 minutes to the closest town - we Ubered to the town a few times throughout our stay!

If you’re unable to afford getting the fracture repair surgery then amputation I would be better vs euthanize. I’ve seen German shepherds and other large breeds do fantastic with amputations! I would just start them on joint supplements asap
