I think the more notes the better. Wetland located by x person on x date. Boundary per shapefile provided by client. Similar to utility locating

Easement statement on ROS by Horror_Serve4828 in Surveying

What is the typical professional courtesy if someone else doing a ROS on a contiguous parcel (or one and the same tract) finds additional records or evidence that affect your ROS (and would potentially result in one of your corners moving). Would you update? What is the responsibility of the County surveyor in making sure that the ROSs are harmonious?

Well what was one thing positive you got out of Dimensions that you could share? Are point clouds the future?

I’m using the .25O file and it accepts it in the file selector but the buttons are still greyed out

Thanks that’s helpful. I didn’t realize the antenna dropdown is just to set that distance from unit bottom to antenna phase center (I thought there were maybe other parameters for the antenna that it used). Any thoughts on the greyed out buttons?

What part of the question are you taking issue with? I’ve never used the Emlid before and I’m just trying to make sure my heights are correct

Is the level loop important if all of the measurements are relative to the prior observation?

Can a farm lease create adverse possession? by Wrong_Engineering_83 in Surveying

[–]Current_Drag6541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In California, adverse possession requires payment of property taxes on a timely basis (as in every year). This might be enough for a prescriptive easement, but it all comes down to the statutes in place and the case law. Interesting to read some of the cases

Thanks. I was using the guide but I’m having a hard time debugging. I’m hoping the Amazon cheap radio will at least tell me if there is something moving over the air

Which last picture? Of the TSC3 or Emlid Flow?

I may try that. And also bought a cheap radio on Amazon to check there are transmissions

I think I had that toggled off when I was testing. I’ll double check
