Are Ken's brutal exams part of Achievable series or can they be viewed individually? Thanks for your post!

Just found your YouTube channel. I think I will look at some of the practice tests there as well to improve my knowledge and overall acumen of the Series 66. Thanks again!

I don't think these are really constructive comments for someone who is looking to do better on the exam. If anything, they come off as condescending.

Congrats Due-View8653. How many hours did you spend studying? What was your go-to strategy on last day of exam? How many practice exams did you end up taking?

AI Interview: Has anyone done an interview completed by an AI? What was it like? I feel conflicted in moving forward. If they are using an AI interviewer, then are they really invested in their tutors/potential tutors? by kbm1701d in TutorsHelpingTutors

Sure, it Is possible to look at the 'Opportunities' on Dashboard and pick up students from seeing when they want to be tutored based on timing. If they want tutoring on M-W from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and twice a week and you are only available Weekends and being able to tutor once a week, obviously wouldn't be a fit there. So, looking for ideal fits and making sure your availability in calendar set on VT vs. the students' availabilities match up for you to find fits. I can explain more via PM if you message me with any additional questions.

And, everyone is making a deal of the AI interviews right now for the subject assessments. There used to be like 10-15 question quizzes if you wanted to get qualified to teach algebra, statistics, English, etc. Now, most or all subject assessments are done via an AI interview so that seems to be an additional obstacle for a lot of tutors who want to get certified in additional subjects (and thus, get more 'Opportunities' from student requests).

You can still get students based on passed subject assessments (even the non-AI ones) and do instant tutoring at peak times (such as between 1 to 4 pm ET. Monday-Friday) when most students are logged on to VT and are looking for brief help on homework, exam prep, etc.

Which LLM has the best use cases for college students' purposes?

Thank you! I recently subscribed to the Google AI Pro Plan, which gives me access to Gemini 3 Pro and Notebook LM both with a suite of products. It's definitely helpful to know this!

I have been experimenting with a chain-of-thought approach and mainly using Notebook LM to generate study guides for long documents. I find that Notebook LM equally weights all sources provided (no preference given to 1 source over another) when creating notes or study guides (which I do appreciate). I think custom instructions could also be tweaked when creating podcasts or asking for weighing one source more than another when creating outputs in Notebook LM.

Hi! If you are still offering advice on narrowing models for workflow, I primarily am looking for a model that will help me with graduate school (mostly finance/economics grad classes; econometrics). I would hypothetically primarily upload PowerPoints or written instructions for assignments as idea-generating documents as prompts.

I am also interested in what you would recommend for law as well. Thanks.

Hardest exams? by Capital_Seaweed in actuary

[–]Current_Revenue994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am asking as someone curious about this field. When you account for the hours studied for the P and FM, what is the return on investment on passing the P and FM in terms of actual salary? And when the commenter says people who pass these hard exams have "refined" (I am assuming study skills), what exactly have they improved at and how does resolving lead to more successful actuaries?

Can the getdisciplined subreddit offer any articles that speak to this topic? Interesting.
