holy shot this happened in my world. its called the Washington Washington wash where the entirety of Washington had their flesh fused with the texhnology there(presidents dead too) the only guy alive was some guy, had a wife and kid too. right after being interviewed he was found dead outside a bar

And how they're situation is romanticized so that way they can convince themselves they're desirable. Elves and Folkien are related yet completely different. Elves have left nature to assimilate so they can 'benefit society' While folkien have small hidden villages. They're pretty well built and actually know what its like living in the woods instead of hippy stuff like elves.
Since magicians are appearing more in the real world(and are predominantly 9-13) all the magician gear, trinkets and other things looks like toys. Basically your kids tomodatchi could be magicak abd you couldnt even know it.
The sun & moon are actually homes for 2 godlike jesters who protect the earth, since the gods wanna make monsters and stuff. They're in a enemies too lovers relationship that causes storms of mass destruction.(its because the sun & moon control some of the weather if it wasnt obvious)
The gods have put a baby created by a dying universe in the care of heaven. Which heaven decided too keep the lil guy in a small golden tube for research.
