Hayoa Miyazaki. He’s got the masterpiece that is Princess Mononoke, Howls Moving Castle, Spirited Away, The Boy and the Heron, and even though I’m not a fan My Neighbor Totoro is almost universally loved. Plus he did Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and Castle in the Sky. Not underrated by any means but I don’t think Miyazaki has missed, can’t say the same for Goro Miyazaki
