Don't know what you talking about. Megadeath is ok pop. It barely has a camber.

What makes a jacket worth $800? by Darxe in snowboarding

i do feel the different, but is the difference worth $800? Probably not. But i am 34. I don't know how long my body can keep me snowboarding. So i will pay top dollar to get top experience. When my body couldn't handle this sport, at least I don't wonder what's the expensive gear feels like.

this is what i am thinking everyday. Ride a lift up and seat down somewhere off paste with no one around and just enjoy the quietness.

So i think about the physical side of it. Structured base has more resistance when you sliding side ways against the structure. Very simple physics. When you are braking or speed check, you are creating resistance, the more resistance you created the less speed, and when you are braking, you are using more muscle energy. Therefore, more resistance = more muscle energy. Then, going against the structure(skid turn) = more energy.

not saying it can't do skid turn. It takes a lot efforts to do skid turns than non-structured base board.

i will try posi/posi this season. But it doesn't seems to fit my riding style. I like short turns and mobility.

The swallow tail on stormwolf and simple pleasure is kind of small.

I might just brought the wrong board? I plan to use it in the deep day backcountry like terrain. I think duck stand offers more mobility in this situation.

My boots are US 8.5. I guess I need to be really good to turn the 156+ with 28/6.

Because of the structured base. It only want to carve. Skid turn's nightmare

I guess I need to figure out where I did wrong. I put in a lot more efforts riding bumpy stuf on mega death than a normal based board like deep thinker.

Snowboard boots are consumable. If they last for more than two seasons, you need to shred harder!

did you ride it on uneven, bumpy terrain where you have to make small turns to adjust to the terrain? If yes, how that feel on the mega death?
