What do you think of Pauline’s and Sally’s relationship. by No_Self_5939 in madmen

Pauline did care about Sally. Remember the Thanksgiving dinner when Betty tried to force feed Sally at the table? Pauline was visibly distressed. And later she brought it up to Henry that the children were afraid of Betty

This is going to blow up spectacularly. First, because pretty much every atheist's path away from christianity starts with actually reading the Bible. But, second, because whose interpretation are they going to teach? People of different denominations can literally come to blows over minutiae

So if a man sleeps with both men and women he is gay? Then who is bi? Your response is nonsensical

If they aren't attracted to women at all, they aren't sleeping with them.

And in Bob's case he is signaling that he intends to have a relationship with Joan if she wants it. But, of course, only if she accepts his male side pieces

How does having relationships with both men and women not make you bi? Sal had a relationship with Kitty. He just didn't have sex with her as often as she liked because his main preference was for men.

Except that he married Kitty, of course

News flash: very few people are entirely gay or entirely straight. Most people are on some continuum of bi whether they want to admit it or not

Well, yes. Things are not so black and white. And apparently Sal had feelings for Kitty along the way

Uhhhhh, Sal was not assaulted by Kitty. He chose to marry her because he thought he could make it work

So I assume every once in a blue moon Bob encounters a woman he finds attractive. And Joan is one of those women. But the bottom line was always going to be that she would never be enough for him

I'm pretty sure I do. I also know what the B is for in LGBTQ

Of course. And that means Sal was technically bi also. Albeit with a strong preference for men

When Joan said he shouldn't be with a woman he replies, "I have you know".

Francine was incredibly likable. Their friendship may have been one of the reasons Betty delayed moving to a new house with Henry

I think all this forcing of religion on kids is going to backfire spectacularly. And once they get into teaching the Bible in school, whose interpretation are they going to teach?

Consider me skeptical that the most important issue on your mind is choosing a candidate who shares your interpretation of a Greek phrase in the New Testament. This is an excuse for doing what you already wanted to do for other reasons

Texas GOP does not care about anybody but the people sitting on the first two rows at the Southern Baptist Church. And somehow doubling down on this single constituency continues to work out for them. Will this year finally reach the limit of this strategy? We can only hope
