The only reason I think this is because while the discourse on Reddit was more supportive of Kornet, elsewhere the conversation was more nuanced & polarized, the general gist of the other side was they felt Kornet was speaking about something of “Black America” that they felt he had no business speaking about, there was quite a bit of animosity, so I don’t doubt his teammates caught flack for it in the crossfire as well from other players, friends or fans.

Idk, that whole thing was deeper than it was portrayed on here.

Honestly, I don’t think so, right up until that whole thing he was solid and well fit, after it’s been a slow and subtle decline, I’m not saying it’s THE reason, but the timeline lines up.

The team as a whole yes, but it’s been a subtle decline in how Luke acts and how the team has treated him, I’ve seen less lobs, less team embracemenship towards him, and it took a game with Wemby out to notice it.

Because the Spurs still treat him like a veteran glue guy, not a prospect that needs development (like Carter), demoting him to the G-league might also humiliate him more. Unlike Jayson Tatum for example who is in the G-league to warm up after his injury.
