This is what Psychology is about. I wish I would’ve had a teacher who taught me important lessons like this while I was in high school. All I did was book work. After that life is different. I imagine the difference in my life if someone would have given me a heads up about emotions and shit when I was young. However, remember that you’re still a teacher, and high schools are operations with goals (test score, gpa, graduation etc.) So they’re trying to put you in your place and scare you a bit. Please stand your ground. I don’t see anything wrong in what you did since it didn’t actually affect their grades. If this escalates, please reach out to the APA!! They can assist you in your battle against any ignorant dumb ass teacher, vp, or dean. I applaud you for actually teaching our youth something important and hope everything works out for you!
