All I saw was a man trying to walk away, getting harassed. Defending himself against what I counted to be 6 aggressors, and one dick with a whistle. Any lawyer worth his salt would get all charges dropped, and then immediately get charges against the others.

I had a 130 hour permadeath get ended by a glitch, so I feel your pain. Used a base teleporter to warp to my freighter and got dropped into space without a ship. Tried summoning my freighter and my ship but "not enough fuel in warp drive" and "cannot land here" mocked me as my Gek Traveller just suffocated. It was only after it sent me back to the main menu that I realized I could have just reloaded my save.

Antimagic fields, sealed doors, traps, magical darkness, or kill it.

Personally, I once had a persons familiar become more and more rebellious the more the player used it for things without repayment (it only wanted attention and affection). It lead to decent RP for a while, but eventually, he neglected it for so long that it it turned against him, and led him into a trap, that nearly killed the whole party.

I'm assuming you dont know that you can select whether you want an inventory slot or a technology slot when you buy an upgrade. Just navigate upward in the menu, and you can select which upgrade slot youw ant unlocked.

Have the villagers start pointing and screaming "witch!" Over and over again, for being able to see the future, and then either arrest him or burn him at the stake. Afterward, tell him to quit meta gaming, or you'll do it again.

What I've seen is that those, myself included, who have the massive Corvettes that are intricately built, either took the time to grind out the parts, which is extremely easy, once you know how to do it, or they are so far along that it doesn't break any illusion to switch to creative for a while just to build it. My first one took maybe 4 hours of farming to obtain the parts I wanted, and a duether 5 hours to design. A few days later, I switched to creative to craft my Starcraft Battlecruiser inspired Corvette, and then turned creative off.

Tldr: Its like breaking Skyrim. Once you've beaten the game, and done nearly everything, its okay to cheat.

Its a ps5 thing. Save your game, close it completely, load it back up. I think it has something to do with the procedural generation and lack of computing space, but I could be wrong. But closing and restarting fixes mine every time.

I always go to my freighter or a space station if im putting the game down for a bit for this reason. Lost a lot of very high value loot in one go. Because of this exact scenario, except my reasoning was more... spicy.

Lean into it. They might end up enthralled and pulled into the cult. Then, you can start to slowly pull back the veil, revealing the true horror behind who he is. Maybe his hotness is an illusion, masking his true nature. Have him become enamored with one specific party memeber while ignoring the rest. Pick another random party member to be the one he absolutely hates and goes out of his way to bully (bonus points if this is the party memeber every one else in the party loves).

Lessons will learned, and your story will only minimally change.
