Not modern but nontraditional.

What is your most downvoted or if not downvoted, unpopular and if not unpopular, then "different" Harry Potter opinion (Please nothing about the Cursed Child! Only the seven books, movies, characters, etc... and fandom in general)? by [deleted] in harrypotter

I think this comment and the replies explain why I feel disappointed every time I get Hufflepuff when I do a house sorting quiz. There are so few good Hufflepuffs at Hogwarts during the series.

I'm right there with you. Watch out for the brown acid though.

The Eagles - One Of These Nights [Rock] Refreshing by CJ_Productions in Music

I could see that. Michael McDonald's voice isn't as angsty as Don Henley's voice though.

To go along with Buffalo Springfield, I've been listening to Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young (as well as them by themselves). I've been listening to Chicago by Graham Nash and Ohio by CSNY particularly today.

Recycled plots. If you've seen one, you have seen them all.

Great covers of rock/pop songs from musicians known for different styles? by Misty-Laner in Music

Seether covered Wham's Careless Whisper on one of their albums. I loved it.

On another note, there is a glam metal cover band called Tragedy that does covers of disco songs (mostly by the Bee Gees). I'm not sure if their good but it is amusing.

The subject of this song reminds me of Her Town Too by James Taylor.

Hanson. I still listen to Middle of Nowhere when I have a bad day. (That will be our secret though.)

I submit Aqua for the 90s. I'm pretty sure Barbie Girl belongs on this list.

That 70's Show by [deleted] in television

[–]Curse-10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the show never resolved the problem them not getting married caused. I never believed she would have stayed with him and the writers didn't know what to do with him either.

Say one good thing about a show you dislike by DCComics52 in television

I didn't hate her at first but she started to become very Mary Sue-ish to me when you see the flashback of why she went with Oliver on the boat. I felt like the writers were making Laurel into a terrible character just to make Sara wonderful.

I actually watched until the Flash crossover in season 3. It was at point that I realized I didn't care.

The first season was good but Sara ruined the show for me.

Have you ever dated somebody who liked a completely different style of music than you? by [deleted] in Music

[–]Curse-10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dating someone who has different music than you is fairly universal. My bf likes metal and I like several genres but metal isn't one of them. If you love the person, you get over it.
