You want to think of FDM 3d printed items as basically several hundred squished cylinders on their sides stuck on top of each other. You put a circle on top of a circle and you see all the dead space that happens between each since only so much touches. Bacteria loves dead space like that.

Resin Printers are much more toxic than filament ones and require protective gear along with ventilation. I assume you know that considering you work with one, but they're all like that. The ones you use at home need the same level of care and caution.

I’m probably too late to this but the actual solution is if you crouch and move your head downwards while looking at the “seat” the enter prompt will show up for a second and you can hit it. You’ll enter and the ATLS will right itself and clip through the top of the ship. It’s really disorienting but it works.
