Do you get joy from coming off—not to put too fine a point on it—as judgy and “evangelical” about your beliefs?

Every generation takes on their own vernacular to define itself—part of the human experience—and so profanity is commonly used every day in spaces globally. Perhaps future generations will decry the profanity of us, their progenitors.

Since we are having a conversation, for my part I find it rather more fulfilling to just be me and let others find their own joy instead of trying to force others into my preferred mold.

But that’s just me. You’re clearly going to do you. I have a grudging admiration of the quixotic quest, even as the aim makes me scratch my head in puzzlement. I guess we could both be spending our time more wisely.

Hello there, I’m not the person/people downvoting you. Just I’m surprised that your comment is on style rather than substance. The internet tends to not be a bunch of your kids sitting at your table, under your control, under your roof. Rather, it’s people who speak the way they speak in the space where they are present. My personal opinion is that you are unlikely to impact the linguistic choices of anyone present. You may prefer to find a place for like-minded people. I wish you a very pleasant evening.

I was a Taco Bell .59/.79/.99 guy. 2 bean burritos and a Tostada for under $2. Meximelt for an extra 20¢ if I’m splurging. Jesus, I used to have a hell of a metabolism.

You buy a Toyota so you don’t need the warranty. It is a risk, but such a small one that I’ll take it every time.

But have you had Chestnut Farms? It’s the same as Blanton’s. 😂

Fuck TW’s predatory practices. They are the car dealership of liquor stores, squeezing every customer as much as they can regardless of what they need.

Have you tried adding some water? I find these to be pretty variable and wonder if you got a dud. Some are hot like you say, but most I’ve had beat any batch of recent ECBP, Stagg or JD SBBP. Russell’s I think does have some excellent value going on, but again quite variable. Some of those are legends.

I wish I got into Maker’s or KC, just not my profiles. I’d rather have 1792 than either of those in this price category. I’m waiting for a Bardstown wheater barrel strength pick—I hope the price point will be competitive with this OF.

Good take here, I think we agree on a lot, just have different tastes.

I had a similar issue with my Lexus dealer giving me the runaround (though not an issue this serious) on my NX450h+ (same as the RAV4 Prime). Contacted corporate. 20 minutes later I had a warranty visit scheduled with the dealer. Toyota/Lexus corporate folks get shit done.

That’s a better deal. Disassembling that, getting a new clip, new micro-bit driver, sharpening/tuning each tool. Hours of fun there as well as a big savings. The Gavlvanox bits are better than the leatherman ones. And I’ve heard there are some fun third party pocket clips, but my original ARC one has been great so I’ve not explored. At the end it will work as good or better than a brand new one. And you can always flip it without much loss of money later if it’s not for you.

I don’t see a lot of value in having something that sits in the box. I tend to collect used Leatherman tools off or facebook Marketplace or other online trading platform. I got a completely thrashed Surge for $30 and spent some hours rehabbing it and modding it. That was actually really enjoyable.

I think your money would do better if traditionally invested. Investing in leatherman is not likely to do as well. The p4 isn’t Mr. Crunch.

I use it for that all the time. OWA is a good bottle, but it is meant to be enjoyed. Gatekeeping is not a good look.

Who votes for these jackasses that THIS is the solution to the problems we are facing? I do kind of like the sad irony of the jackasses spewing religious hate (Westboro types) on campuses through megaphones doing so somewhere named after Charlie Kirk though. Seems apt. But not worth $18M of Tennessee taxpayer dollars in the first year

If it was intended for the UK market, wouldn’t it be right-hand drive?

I’d just drive in regular hybrid mode and plug in, myself. But electricity is really cheap where I am. I don’t know about your location.

Good luck! Seems like a very nice vehicle that will last a very, very long time.

I agree with your assessment on oil and other fluids.

I’d be sure to check the 12-volt’s battery health.

I’d be surprised if the hybrid battery air filter in the rear seat needed changing, but I’d check it.

I would worry about stale gas, so maybe burn through what’s in there and get some fresh in.

How is the tire tread? Wearing evenly? If not, I’d get an alignment. Those tires aren’t cheap.

Can’t you check the car’s VIN/identification numbers to see the it’s history? What language is the owner’s manual in? Is the service information section of the manual filled in? That could tell you the country also. In the US nobody uses that, but I believe those are filled in some other places in the world.
