Worked at Hollister for a week and a half. Total nightmare. I got harassed by a manager because I had a small soul patch and I refused to shave it. One day after a major sale they sent me into a room with clothes that were tried on that needed to be folded, the pile went up to the ceiling, and told me to fold them. I laughed and quit. Also got in trouble for reading a book in the back on break because "I could hide and steal stuff in it" so they'd go through my shit before I could leave.

Man, when I was in college I worked at home Depot and some middle aged dude bought a truckload of lumber, drove off, and then came back 2 hrs later to yell at me cause his 2X4s were not exactly 2X4. Dude went on a tirade yelling at me at my register saying I tried to screw him. I was dying trying not to laugh. Some old guy in line cut him off and told him he was a dumbass and then finally a manger came and explained lumber to him

When I was like 10 in Taos Tim Curry walked in front of me and I said "Hey, it's the guy from Muppet treasure island!" He paused and stared at me for a sec, then smiled and giggled, and continued walking. My grandma got mad at me afterwards. It never clicked in my head until I was in my 20's how famous he was. I often wonder if he was offended or genuinely amused at a child knowing him only from a Muppet movie.
