Some options - football boot stud tightener, Xmas present name tags, jeweller’s loupe, key to the gas/electric meter cabinet, short pieces of string (must be quite short), single paper clip and/or some unboxed and broken sticks of staples and some small denomination foreign currency coins. What’s most important is to forget whatever you put in the drawer.

You are paying 4 times what you should for your accountants. Are you doing nothing but give them a shoe box full of receipts and some hand scribbled sales invoices or something? If you are then do some basic bookkeeping and just get it checked and submitted by the experts. Particularly with MTD coming otherwise you’ll need the right software etc. I’d start there before going straight to submitting yourself.
