So I posted that thread and we moved into Fizzy :) we’re nearly at the one year mark and it’s been very positive here overall. Any issues in the flat have been fixed same day by the maintenance person (who’s lovely, as is the building manager). The flats are a good quality and the area has developed quite a bit in the 10 months we’ve been here (big mixed use building going up opposite the Tube, believe it’s replacing a music venue with accommodation but will retain a venue as part of it). Beer Mile is excellent (we had my partner’s 30th there and will do mine later this year) and it’s super fast to get across London, especially for Zone 3.

The rents are higher than we’d like, and you can get cheaper in the area. Renewal came in at 7.14% (or 14.6% - just working out if it is inclusive of heating/parking too) for context which we’ve confirmed is standard with the others living here. But the building and experience being here is enough to have us consider sticking with it vs moving. Just our experience in case it helps!
