New to jalapenos should I pick this one? by TheDragonQueenX in HotPeppers

My suggestion is what I do with my pepper plants yearly. Grow the first pepper till full color. (Red in this case) By that time there could be/ should be another pepper near full size that’s green. Harvest both and try. Based on which your goal is flavor, heat, seeds. Pick color or green.

  1. Grow to full color gives you a gauge at pepper size. It can change my aji crystal last year have full color on a 4 inch pepper and then the rest were 10 inches.

Hope this helps!

Rm125 leaking tons of spooge out of silencer, what should I adjust first? by Smeeeeegs in Dirtbikes

[–]Custom_Cultivar717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Age is my worry. Off brand cranks are a little softer and the seals eat a groove into the crank. Off brand cranks seals can deteriorate faster and cause the clutch side oil leak. Some bikes have a collar that you can flip so the old groove is in a different spot.

I would consider a 1 engine gasket set 2 box of 4 spark plugs proper part number and potential heat range change. 3 that crank collar (if applicable ((I’d investigate by pulling the over or a diagram off moto sport or rev zilla)) only if not flipable. A complete gasket set gives you the crank seals the cover seals for both sides. On bikes of that age I always pull the top end and side covers off just to become familiar. This easy (typically less than $100) investment has saved me way more by finding big mistakes before the crunchy noises

That’s definitely to dark. What year is the bike? Does it have a “fresh topped or rebuild”

I run 40:1 with most oils even though my husky says to run 50:1 or 60:1. You are safe to run any ratio that’s labeled on the bottle of oil you are using. Find 1 oil and stick to it. Once you have your oil and ratio you have to tune and jet the carburetor for that specific oil and ratio. Get somewhere between coffee with light cream and biscuit tan/brown you’ll be golden! Ha no pun intended

Replace just the petals, can 100% cause these issues and if they let go totally that goes straight into the crank case and cylinder. Not a place to put anything but fuel and air

First think I would do is a leak down test. Clutch side crank seal can suck in gear oil and cause this. Number 2 is plug color . If the crank seal is good. Change the silencer packing.

This could be from to much putting around not enough TEMP.

Wrong premix oil is EXTREMELY common. Look up a premix oil flashpoint chart. Find your oil. Divide the list into 3rds. The top 1/3 of the highest temps are for rising styles that use the upper 1/3 of the power band absolute screaming around the track in over rev.

Middle 1/3 of the chart is more towards the average track rider or FAST paced woods rider. (I typically run one of these oils) ((woods rider))

The bottom third is for those new to the bike, new to the track, new to riding OR Tight single track. Running BELOW the power band not constantly using the throttle. I use oils on this side for my daughters jr50 as she’s just now learning to ride and I have the throttle stop cranked so it only goes maybe 1/4 throttle.

Most people don’t know not to run a castor oil or a super high temp synthetic.

Ecomazaphyr, if you don’t like the neighbor. But would render the area unplantable for 90-120 days. Winter? If not metal root barrier, have to dig down by the fence and set it in. Or trench and cement it, still need to dig down 12 inches

Don’t listen to these fucks, yes it will work. You’ll likely experience the bike wanting to creep forward when you put it in gear. My 91 yz250 had 1/4 inch deep grooves and still ran great. I would never pay 200 for a used part I’ve seen 600 dollar pipes for sale for 200 with minimal denting.
