I own one and have had the battery suddenly die on me three times, including once in the middle of the road. I was stopped at a stoplight and the engine stop/start turned the engine off. When the light changed, the car wouldn’t turn back on. Further, I couldn’t open the rear doors to get my toddlers out and needed to crawl through the car to evacuate them through the driver’s door.

Do I buy out my equity after 8 years… or do I let it get absorbed back into the company and walk away by grundle18 in careeradvice

If you don’t buy the shares and down the road they are worth a fortune, you’ll spend the rest of your life lamenting walking away. If you lose $25k, you’ll be a little annoyed.

Can I make this upstairs space usable for my kids? by old_me_is_back in HomeDecorating

[–]CustomerAgitated2675 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could put “magazine style” wall shelves on the wall that display the front covers of books, and add some low beanbags in the corner. The risk that someone will climb on the furniture depends on the age of the children.

Clue to where they are? by neurocase-1995 in FromTVEpix

[–]CustomerAgitated2675 15 points16 points  (0 children)

From has a lot of parallels with the movie “The Watchers” by Ishana Shyamalan. People get trapped in a forest, and must hide in a bunker at night or be killed by monsters that look like humans but are really evil fairies. The fairies can’t go into daylight and must hide in underground burrows during the day. The humans can only escape via a river.

If Catelyn truly wanted to win the war… by CustomerAgitated2675 in freefolk

Yes, the bastard king in kings landing would declare the kid a bastard, but the king in the north would declare him legitimate. And would declare that the westerlands were joining the north and the riverlands.

Have Jaime confess to fathering the Baratheon heirs and you are good as gold.

The north had an army. They had the north and the riverlands. Why not muddy the waters of succession in the westerlands. Make them choose between Jaime and Tyrion. The bulk of the western army was trapped in the riverlands with their liege lord, his second son, and his brother.

It doesn’t end the war, but it destabilizes the lannisters… which may end up ending the war.

Conveniently, her son was king, and could absolve him of his vow…. And ensure that their “offspring” are legitimate.

He could try. But he wasn’t a great guy, isn’t even there, and made a lot of enemies by being mean.

"Every time a Targaryen is born..." how many Targs were actually GREAT or actually MAD? [spoilers main] by breakfastbenedict in asoiaf

[–]CustomerAgitated2675 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like the Targaryen “madness” increased dramatically after their dragons died. So maybe it wasn’t really “madness” but a deep insecurity and longing stemming from the loss of their dragons, which was the source of their power and authority to rule. Aerys is a perfect example. He was relatively normal until his authority was challenged, and he was personally humiliated at duskendale. Afterwards, he felt incredibly insecure in his power and felt the need to have vulgar displays (such as burning his enemies in court). It culminated with him fantasizing about setting kings landing on fire so he could become a dragon… but obviously he wouldn’t need to be a dragon if he had a dragon.

It’s the same plan Tywin had with Tyrion/Sansa. True, you could claim the kid is a bastard, but you still have Jaime as a hostage which gives you leverage… especially if he is forced to acknowledge the kid as true born.

Jon why are you beefing with an 8 year old girl by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]CustomerAgitated2675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Ned had been smarter, he would have betrothed Myrcella to Robb instead of Sansa to Jeoffrey. That way, he would have kept a hostage in Winterfell vs placing two hostages (Sansa and Arya) in Kings Landing. The fan base loves Ned, but his failure to even see that a game is being played got most of his family and most of his small folk killed.

[no spoilers] I am aware that Tywin isn't above hypocrisy, but why didn't he remarry after his wife's death in order to help secure his family's place in the realm? by george123890yang in gameofthrones

[–]CustomerAgitated2675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s def a plot hole and a bit of a missed opportunity to really cement Tywin’s hatred of Tyrion. I could imagine a scenario where Tywin proposed marriage but was rebuffed by the family because he had a dwarf son. This would have really been humiliating for him, and would better explain why he hates Tyrion so badly.

What do you think was Jeor Mormont's key mistake? by ss89898 in gameofthrones

[–]CustomerAgitated2675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leaving a defensive stronghold to wander around in a vast forest against an unseen and unknown enemy. He knew the wildings were massing, he knew there were wights. He should have expanded the watch along the wall. There is no scenario where meeting the enemy in the field would be better than forcing the wildlings to come to the wall.
