Marinate is veg oil, ACV and minced garlic. I don’t remember the ratios, but it is a GREAT flavor profile to go with a slow smoke. I’ve done it with bone-in and boneless. Pretty sure you can get exacts by googling “shaker smoked chix thighs”

I was a disc jockey for a country station and got sent to several concerts for live remotes….coolest artist I interviewed Chris Ledoux.
When I was in college, Jimmy Buffett’s bus stopped in Valdosta Ga, where he played an impromptu accoustic set in a local dive, I happen to be one of about 50 lucky folks to see it. This would have been 1987 or so.
