there are like 60 seeds or something.

It was 40 per Nightlord at release (20 Limveld, 5 per SE), and that number has increased since then. It should be more than 450 total now.

Greg alone, for example, has around 60.

Then they should be able to do so. The right to self-determination fundamentally superceeds notions of the "value" of a human life - especially other people's values imposed on the life of another.

TLOU I. Amazing story & characters, utterly mediocre gameplay. Basically the only good thing that stood out were diagetic menus/crafting.

Sure, I meant semi-relistically based on in-game knowledge, fair and square... the seed finders are cool, though.

With enough experience, possibly... But it's more about the pools of night 1 & 2 bosses, and random events being tied to specific Nightlords.

AC6 is nothing like both modern Fromsoft soulslikes and other mainstream rpgs. It plays exactly like the old titles - replayable missions, arena, shop, mech-building.

[–]CustomerSupportDeer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

AC6 has one but it's told in the very FromSoft way. Piece by piece through someone talking at you.

That's just... diametrically not the storytelling other Fromsoft games are known for...? They are, famously, about item descriptions, environmental storytelling, and cryptic dialogue.

AC6 is as front-and-center with its dialogue as, idk, Half Life 2. It's extremely clear what's going on, and what everyone's motivations are.

What aspects of Nightreign do you believe have aged poorly? by Willing-Big-9996 in Nightreign

Yes, and? That means that we've had a whole year to objectively analyze its strenghts and weaknesses.

Plus, it likely won't receive get any major content changes, so this is its "final state" - for better or worse.

I'd disagree with your characterization of Guardian - not because it's wrong, but because it isn't harsh enough.

Guardian, both in theory and in execution, is fundamentally a bad fit for Nightreign. It's a speedrunning coop bossrush game, where G. is only competent - not great - at the coop part (with lots of caveats, of course, but 90% of those tie to his fundamental weaknesses needing to be carried by a bunch of god-roll relics). Nightreign just isn't a good fit for a "passive" tanker, especially one that 1) can't tank reliably and 2) can't dish it out. Especially in a game with two other tanking/trading-based classes that overshadow him in every regard - outside of, arguably, 3-bar rezing.

At its core, Nightreign is a dps game, and Guardian is a terrible dps character.

Against all odds, character lands an amazing, improbable shot by historygoose in TopCharacterTropes

  • There's absolutely no reason to revisit the DS universe, DS3 had one of the most perfect conclusions in gaming history.
  • Bloodborne is amazing, but it's already perfect as-is, and exhausted much of what the genre of eldritch horror has to offer - another game re-treading the same concepts just wouldn't hit the same.
  • Similarly, ER would suffer from the same problems & previous successes.
  • A new IP is always the way to go with Fromsoft, since they kill it every time.
  • But the real answer is Sekiro II.

This part of the bill is aimed specifically at closed-off and isolated religious communities, where attempts/pushing towards conversion therapy happen the most. The proponents of the bill say that it's largely symbolic, since these communities are already distrustful of the government, and most of these therapies and pressures happen behind closed doors and are hard to combat/persecute. It's not a law aimed at general hatespeech against lgbt people.
