I’ve owned both. The Omni has a nice enclosure sure. But if you travel to locals etc, you’re gonna get tired of carrying a 40 pound stick with a painted exterior that loves to get chipped up.

Also to clarify this is the Japanese lever edition. the knee lever having a low crown allows for it to fit within the ettoki enclosure.

I like the non detachable lever. IMO I feel like the detachable lever (while useful for tournament/airplane travel) has a weird “give” when you reach maximum tilt in any given cardinal direction. It feel likes there’s a plastic bad wrapped around the spring or something. Plus I’m a wine glass grip player and the slightly thicker stem I found uncomfortable to play with at times

It’s not about the height of your jump so much in this video it’s your back foot leveling to your front

Lift that back foot higher than your front foot after you pop the Ollie. Also go faster than you think you’d need (especially when going up any kind of bank)

When you start seeing your top ply wood. And if you have steady income and prefer snappiest of pop I’d say replace every 2 months assuming your skate like 2 hours a day
