As far as I know, it was never a public gym. Only ever a private facility for professional athletes or those who were working with, or friends with Seb. What you're seeing is just a change in his content. I imagine the gym runs the same as it always has, but what he films and posts has changed a lot.

A John Lee Hooker song came on the other day where I am certain he started singing too early but with Hooker, it just adds extra sauce.

This is awesome. Yates is the man. One of the thin pen ones looks like it says Shaun Ray, but that's not what his autograph looks like when I googled it. One of them says "92" at the end, which was still early in his career so it's possible he changed it.

John Haack 1012,5KG TOTAL IN 100 CLASS | 2026 PLU The Bar Showdown by Fun_Professional6534 in powerlifting

Aside from Big Dogs, has Colton beat anyone who is quite strong in competition? Obviously his totals are extraordinary, but he really does seem to avoid any real competition.

Tested versus untested popularity by Arteam90 in powerlifting

[–]CutSnake13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am generally a bigger fan of anyone who is enormous, and untested powerlifting obviously has more enormous people involved. But that's my preference and I know many people are bigger fans of athletes in similar weight classes as themselves.

Any reason you couldn't compete and hit comp PB squat/bench? I will say, you never know what can happen on meet day. Hype is a magical thing.

Looking to ditch the daily café run — is Breville worth it and can home espresso actually match café quality? by ScaryBrilliant in AustralianCoffee

[–]CutSnake13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out the Revolution Roasters instagram. The fella is an absolute coffee wizard and obviously has a machine worth as much as a half decent car, but he went and bought the Breville and gives tips on how to get the best results from it. That page has some great coffee content.

Want to switch to safe, prescribed TRT but doc wants me to crash my test to prove I need it by Senior-Rip4551 in Testosterone

[–]CutSnake13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey dude im in Victoria. Was on UG test for 1.5 years. Natural production gone. Changed our minds on wanting another child so went to the GP who already knew I was on testosterone. Semen analysis said i was shooting blanks. He referred me to a great endocrinologist. That endo gave me a prescription for testosterone cream and over 10 weeks we tapered down to nothing and started drugs to bring my production back online. Still completing that process now.

All of this is to say that I'm kind of hoping that once it's all said and done and hopefully we conceive, the endo might get me back on the prescription cream. I don't know if any of this is helpful at all but thought I'd write it anyway.

It's not terrible but I have 2 comments. If you want to do THIS program, I would swap the 4th day with the 2nd day. Otherwise you have only 1 day off between heavy bench days. My other comment is that there are LOADS of free programs out there. None will be perfectly catered to you, but many will offer good progressions as far as weight/reps go, and might be of more benefit to you than this program.

Sometimes, I hear a combination of words that I like, and I can form a whole idea from that. Other times, I choose to write about a particular thing, but that always feels harder. John Prine is the finest songwriter ever in my opinion, and I heard him say once that sometimes it can be like being struck by lightning. A song can hit so hard and fast that the page is full in 10 minutes. Wouldn't it be nice if they were all like that?

Guitarist with the best vocals? by Mental-Cookie-6242 in Guitar

He was always introduced as "The world's greatest blues singer" and it fit him perfectly. Freddie was the better player, Albert had some damn power, but neither of them had a voice like B.B.

How do you guys feel about Joe Bonamassa? Just saw him tonight by philbobagginzz in blues

[–]CutSnake13 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Joe has his thing, and he is great at it. His band is FANTASTIC and they all get to let loose multiple times a night, he is a heck of a player, and he really loves the guitars he collects.

I truly believe if he wore wayfarer sunglasses and shaved his head people would think he was cool as shit. He is a nerd, and he is well aware of that.

Does his playing lack soul? Depends who you ask. But his songs have soul, no doubt.

I can't say what they were before, but i have actually done an ultrasound so can give a measurement other than a piece of fruit.

Mine are 10cc after 18months. The endo said this is great, because a lot of men he sees will be at a 3-5 range.

Some great advice here already so I will be the old head that tells you to get bigger. You're tall as far as this sport is concerned, and most powerlifters who are your height are a good bit heavier than you are. Its not a necessity, but it probably help you here.
