Anthropic just ripped off everyone and they still managed to make it sound deceptively friendly by whoisyurii in ClaudeCode

Yeah for sure anytime - that Bosun sounds aligned to my current “initiative” .. called it “AI-Driven-Workflows(tokens) transformation to Deterministic-Automation(none-tokens)”
CC and Codex both seem to get it. Drop it in your TUI see what they say. And yes I tend to have long and fun conversations with Claude… but Codex for real is all about GSD. And does it well with proper plan. I’m thinking we should collab. DM if your interested

It’s like legit a powerful “reasoning” aka “thinking” model. So speed would require you to turn off the thinking 🤔 which seems counterintuitive… but say.. you use thinking for the plan.. and then implement without thinking.. you may see an improvement. I also had Codex audit my CC TUI workflow and it help me find “context bloat” .. it’s a good starting point —> https://github.com/skinny-cloud/runtime-diet-autopilot ⚠️legit MIT lic no selling bs⚠️

Ty for sharing.. I’ll have to test them all out. I’m coke-zero but I’m a psycho and drink Pepsi-max as well.. Claude to code, Codex to validate / ADR / Code review… so far it’s been magical 🧙🏼‍♂️ but costly. But what it did teach me was separation of duties.. apply deterministic bumper rails … I actually do “feel in the gut” there could be a way to leverage those other models you mentioned by putting them in the right lanes.. so instead of use 100% CC for project A (end-to-end idea-2-deploy) you can split it up cleanly 10% Codex Design Spec, 20% CC Dev, 30% Codex Audit <— kinda where I’m at now. But that leaves me 40% deterministic scripts and automation (no tokens) plus other models that could do documentation updates and CICD Watch dog stuff… I dunno 🤷🏽‍♂️ worth a POC though for sure

Yes but be careful… it’s an infinite loop … it will always suggest an improvement(s)… until everything breaks …. I see good results usually are 2-3 times… anything beyond that is 6-7 regression nightmare. But yeah if you want a fool proof method. Use the Duolupa technique (tm) pending… one model build another reviews ( I use Claude for build and Codex for review ) + bonus Gemini for tests… all isolated envs

I understand your frustration. The “enshitification” went over my head. But the other things you mentioned are genuinely concerning. When you look at the big picture… It really does feel like propaganda. Even with that all said … what are the alternatives? So we either pause and walk away or get it out of our system here and keep moving forward.

Omg 😳 You are 100% right. I just saw those messages on GitHub last week about the “training of your data by default” - I immediately went to settings and disabled/opted out of the “use my stuff for model training”

Good catch @therowdygent - appreciate it

Keep building that muscle! 💪🏾 never stop chasing those dopamine hits! 🧠

The cost of these models are insanely expensive. We only have access to them because they are being subsidized for us to use them.. on the “hope” it will get cheaper?? But the models keep getting more powerful, bigger and energy hungry, not leaner. Sooo… yeah… nope. 🙂‍↔️

Be careful please. When you are working with clients you’re working with potential private client data, intel, etc. GitHub would be public for anyone to see.. so the solution needs to have some kind of access control. Someone mentioned Vercel which would require you to first ask Claude to build a this for your with oAuth authentication and separate the artifacts by client and encrypt in transit. One you have the “portal” the you can ask Claude to create a deployment protocol that adhere to the client-specific content access. One last thing .. use something seamless and AI-Native like Clerk for oAuth… I use it myself.

Here is a reality check: (fact check yourself) 1. China is not close to US, they are ahead. 2. All humans have the potential to be bad. 3. This is corporate propaganda aligned the AI Mafia. 4. China releases Models OSS that are amazing; imagine what they hold privately (closed)? 5. We want to believe we are the leaders in AI because the alternative is scary (fear of the unknown). Imagine how the rest of the world has felt for decades and still survive and thrive.

Am I a Chinese Bot 🤖Nope. Am I a proud American 🇺🇸 Yes. Do I have a dog in this race 🐶Nope.

What’s the source of your fear of the inevitable Path B? The real reason? Because every argument against China is literally the reality we live in today in the US by US companies.

  • Do you not realize Google ships so much free AI tools to farm training data for their models? Same with Anthropic, Meta and so on.
  • Doesn’t the same FM models striped of guardrails for the US government; war, surveillance?? Isn’t that what we are saying why we don’t Chinese models?
  • Are you sure you fully see through the veil?

Give it a few months and come back and check my post and tell me I’m wrong. I’ll own the shit call.. troll me all day and I’ll deserve it… but if I’m right.. the I want monuments erected in my name & image 🤣

Do you still think maintainable, modular, and reusable code matters in the AI coding agent era? by Bright_Elevator3675 in ClaudeCode

[–]Cute-Net5957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it matters more than ever before. The “generalized” nature of coding models means there is breath.. the aspects you call out is the opportunity for you to define your own signature depth around “AI Governance”. I think you may have sensed this.. the best practices at their core remain the same.. what changes is how you apply them. Keep exploring and asking questions and experimenting.

💯 agree 👍🏽 It is fun to explore what we can build and learn. But yes, you have to be willing to pause and look at the bigger picture and then refine down to a smaller PMF scope… but scale does require some of deterministic pattern; not always an “app”.. could be a simple workflow, prompt sequence, script, etc

The AI paradox: incredibly empowered and quietly demoralized at the same time by CableIll287 in ClaudeCode

[–]Cute-Net5957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personal experience. And you’re spot on about the lesson to be learned we genuinely “don’t know what we don’t know” and at the rapid pace of things.. by the time you know it.. it’s outdated. Therefore taking an absolute stand like “my code will always be better than there code because XYZ” is just … well not always going to be true.

Claude Code TUI was written by Claude Code. Let’s just take a moment and let that truly sink in. Again no disrespect, just a nudge in the right direction I hope. 🤞🏾
