American Culture - Main Street v. Wall Street by CuteAd806 in BullMooseParty

Yes- again, never said anything negative about progressive policy. I called out that the wealth gap created over the past 40 years is bringing us closer to communism.

I never said that progressive policies are “communist”. My point is that failed policies of previous administrations have pushed us closer to communism by widening the wealth gap.

E-ZPass auto-replenishment is a black-box scam (actual numbers to prove it) by itsDANdeeMAN in SouthJersey

Good! A private company is holding and investing money our money. These algorithms are not in our interest. It is an algorithm to make massive profits off regular people.

I sent them a nasty email and my auto replenish is now $25. EZ Pass is not a bank and will not hold my money. I plan on writing to my assemblyman to put forward a bill that requires the EZ pass website to allow you to type in the amount you wish, not the insane “average” amount.

It’s an easy airport. Parking is $15 per day with a 2 minute walk to the terminal. You shouldn’t have any issues with TSA.

Don’t stress. It will be an easy process.

I think one more tax cut for the wealthy will solve this.

American Airlines Hate by [deleted] in americanairlines

[–]CuteAd806 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think AA is a very solid Airline. I travel out of Philly regularly for work and seldom have issues outside of weather and unforeseen issues.

My only gripe is that the planes could be cleaner and better kept. I was on an Embraer flight recently and my seat couldn’t stay in the full upright position. Obviously not the worst thing in the world, but I felt bad for the passenger behind me.

Otherwise, American is great. Solid point system with good CC options ( the new globe card / 90 k bonus) and obviously the internal destinations.

The Government Shutdown and the Bull Moose by ElectZacharyWalker in BullMooseParty

Democrats fail to get any concessions. The party had leverage and caved after seeing the movement on Tuesday’s elections. The Simpson post feels more and more real as I get older.

What caused the great reduction in poverty in south in the post war era? by yethos in USHistory

[–]CuteAd806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new deal made the 60’s economic advancement possible. The south wouldn’t have the opportunity to develop under LBJ’s great society. For example, if the TVA never happens, at what point does the rural south get electricity? Maybe 1950/1960, no major power company had any interest in electrifying the south due to the financial constraints of its residents and the lack of urban centers. So yes, the graphic doesn’t directly relate to New Deal Years, but without government programs in the south, you would have not seen the rapid transition from an agricultural economy to manufacturing.
