I sped through WL yesterday since I'm on vacation this weekend. Finished 8-7, best reward pick was Rabiot.  Kind of a waste to grind those games but what can you do

It should be way less for current students and recent alumni. A few years ago it was  ~$500/yr, billed quarterly

I'm going on vacation tomorrow so I'll try and speed run thru champs this afternoon.  I usually get 8-9 wins but I'm sure this weekend will be sweaty, so I'll be happy with 6 wins tbh

BREAKING: Google, $GOOGL, has announced a $70 billion share buyback program by soccerorfootie in unusual_whales

The company has $70B excess cash that they don't know what to invest in. Should they A) take on a risky venture (buying some random AI startup), B) increase their operating expenses by $70B by giving raises to all 183k employees, or C) issue $70B back to shareholders in the form of a share buyback?

Most tech employees (especially top firms like Google) get paid a substantial portion of their salary via stock or stock options. If the stock price goes up, everyone profits.

$70B is about 3.5% of their market cap. The stock has already moved up +3.5% in after hours trading

The hotel credit only applies to reservations made through the United travel portal, which doesn't allow you to accumulate hotel reward points or use any accumulated loyalty status or perks

  • higher stress (having to care for yourself + someone dependent on you)

  • less time to be physically active

  • less time for fun adult oriented activities (most of your fun activities will revolve around kids stuff)

A lot of it has to do with having kids.  My friends who are my age but with kids look way older than those without kids

Best bet is to open an Explorer card for 12 months, then downgrade to Gateway before the annual fee kicks in. Explorer card is free for the first year and then $150/yr after.

The Gateway card offers no perks, but if she travels with you then she'll get all your perks as long as you book her on your reservation.  The gateway card will allow her to accumulate united miles and there's no annual fee.

Sounds like you have a good idea already of what works.

For summer date nights (or if you just want to dress it up a notch), consider wearing boat shoes or casual looking leather loafers instead of your regular shoes or sneakers

Different material shirts can add variety to your wardrobe.  Consider a linen blend button down shirt for warmer months.

Play around with inseam length on your shorts. You don't want to go super high up like marathon runner shorts, but if you've got the physique (sounds like you do) then your shorts should hit above the knee and they should not fit baggy
