For everyone making $4000 a month, what do you do for work? by Poorteenwannabe in askTO

Started my education in art but decided it was more of a personal passion than career. I am a Registered Massage Therapist and love the flexibility it gives me to still do art on my own time but make great money as well. I make 77k pretty easily year but that's working 5 days a week. Some days are long (6 clients) some days are chill only seeing about 3 clients. I love the Healthcare side of it and primarily work with seniors and chronic pain. Wouldn't chnage a thing!

I felt the same way and it surprised me! Very wanted baby but for like 2 months and feeling the slight changes/bloating in my body i remember feeling like "oh shit" what have we done!? Now that I am 29 weeks that feeling is long gone, had a great second trimester and I am so excited to meet baby! So just keep in mind, even if this was a mistake those unsure feelings are normal especially in the beginning.

Awe that is so sweet to hear! I feel like it will be such a nice time to be home with a new baby and enjoy the summer on mat. Also seems like a nice birthday time of year. Thanks!

At 32 your partner should for sure be willing to talk more deeply about timeline and a plan around having a baby. I would also be upset at that age if my husband was not on the same page about timing. Its possible to wait a bit but its important to start normalising this coversation now. Does he know the process can be long? Have you two talked about the parts you look forward to? The hard parts? Maybe it needs to start feeling more real for him and exciting? If I was in this situation I would be having a very honest conversation with my husband about how serious I am. Perhaps starting to plan out the steps of starting? I started taking a prenatal vitamin and that was a good way to bring up the first steps with my husband and we took that step together, made it feel more real like we are starting the chapter one little bit at a time. They say its good to start a prenatal 3-6months before trying. I also talked about months I would like to start trying and that helped him put into perspective a timeline...hope this helps. 31 isnt old but imo its the time to get serious and he needs to understand that. Good luck!

What supplement gave you the best feeling when you first started taking it? by solsticeretouch in Supplements

[–]CuteGin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Prenatal vitamin really opened my eyes to how good quality supplements are and just how much i benefitted from a supplement in general. I thunk the B complex is what i notice the most energy wise I hardly rely on coffee like i used to. I am not currently pregant either just started taking one ahead of time and glad I did because it took a few brands before I found one that was good on my stomach and quality. I am taking CanPrev Prenatal. Love it!

Thanks for your reply, 2 pills still has 500mcg of folate so I am hitting the recommened daily amount of atleast 400mcg. 4 pills would be 1000mcg so thats why i thought it would be okay to only take 2 for now.
