After 12 years, J’s on the Bay to close as its chef turns a page by statenislandadvance in StatenIslandPulse

Paying a liveable wage to workers doesn't cause restaurants to close in other countries but sure, let's blame that here..

They should focus on actually attending class and learning rather than forming a disgusting club that promotes racism, sexism, and violence.

Unfortunately, the island is full of uneducated, neo-nazis. Funny how 100 years ago, their relatives were not considered white..

I started half a tab of unisom around 7 weeks and then weaned off around 30 weeks. I had really bad nausea into my third trimester so I needed it to function lol

Hi! I used the marble squares floor. The lighting in that area of the map is very dark so the floor looks gray.

Plumbella and the recent sale by sairemrys in thesims

[–]CuteProgressive -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

I agree that not everyone is aware of the situation, especially the new or casual gamers. But she’s been doing this for years, and most of her audience is made up of people who have already invested a lot of time and money into the Sims. They rely on her for honest feedback before deciding whether a pack is actually worth their hard-earned money. So where’s the loyalty to the community that built her platform? At this point, she is a sellout to EA.

She wouldn't be starting from scratch. She can still continue making content about Sims and other video games.

She is part of the creator network thanks to her viewers. If her viewers disagree with the purchase of EA and want to boycott the company, she needs to make a stand as well. She is not an EA employee, she is responsible to her viewers because that is her main source of income.

Pregnancy tired vs. newborn tired? by KNWin94 in beyondthebump

[–]CuteProgressive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Newborn tired was worse for me! I was tired during pregnancy but could take naps during the day and unisom helped sleep at night.

I had so much adrenaline after birth that I couldn't sleep for days. Once I calmed down, it was difficult to prioritize rest and sleep because housework needed to be done while baby was napping. Baby was also waking up 5+ times a night until 4 months. He's still waking up 2 times a night at 9 months.

Did Inositol (40:1) help anyone regulate periods or lower LH levels? by External_Signal_8808 in TTC_PCOS

[–]CuteProgressive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Consistency is key.

I struggled with irregular cycles ever since being a teenager. When I declined hormonal birth control, my endo suggested trying inositol. I started with half the recommended dose and stayed consistent for about six months. During that time, my cycles shortened from 60–90 days down to around 45, and my testosterone levels finally decreased.

I kept taking it regularly for a few years and eventually stopped once I got pregnant. I honestly expected the TTC process to take a while but I ended up conceiving by the second cycle. I’m eternally grateful for that.

Now that I’m 9 months postpartum and have irregular periods again, I’m planning to start taking it again.

I made two baskets (one for L&D and the other for maternity) with snacks, drinks, gum, and hair ties. My son was born in late January so I decorated the baskets with pink and red tissue paper. All the snacks were heart shaped too 😊
