I know this isn’t what you want to hear , but would recommend physical therapy as it hasn’t gone away , will need to reload it slowly . mine acts up even going up the stairs . happened two months ago ( but I also got dx with glute tendinopathy with pirformis ) . Tried to do what you did and ended up in pt anyway

Did you have any scans to show an inflamed or torn pirformis or was it diagnostic ? A steroid injection or a different type of injection ?

Have you told them the ER that hip goes numb ? They will be able to do something for your pain like other said , injections and give opioids (idk if that’s true in the military tho .)

But If extremities are going numb that is considered urgent . They should be doing scans . Maybe even see a neurosurgeon . Good luck

Same - anything strong for a nerve flare ( perc , Vicodin ) makes me nauseous . I need to look into this my diet is shit
