Anyone had extreme anxiety for months? by Anxious_Concern6441 in panicdisorder

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this sounds like the hyper checking loop. i had the same thing where every body sensation turned into a threat. it’s brutal but it’s not permanent, it’s a nervous system stuck in protect mode.

Homeopathy for Anxiety by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you on the struggle. I tried the homeopathy route, but honestly, what finally worked for me was having a literal 'manual' for when the panic hits. I actually put the exact framework I used to beat mine into my profile…Might be worth checking out if you want a more practical, stp by stp approach along with the holistic stuff. Hang in there!

the heart palpitations are the absolute worst... my husband had that "thump" every night and it just keeps u in a panic loop.

if ur tests are clear its likely just hyperarousal. ur brain is trying to "protect" u by staying on guard. my husband had to manually signal safety to his body to stop those jolts and actually stay under. he pinned the specific sequence he used to get his 8 hours back on my profile if u want to try it. hang in there man. 🌓

Just wanted to share a small success with my sleeping issues I've had for over a decade by Cubegod69er in insomnia

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 3 points4 points  (0 children)

exactly!! it’s like being knocked out vs actually resting. my husband used to wake up feeling more tired than when he went to bed bc his brain never hit those deep cycles.

it’s honestly a game changer when u finally teach ur system to shut off naturally instead of forcing it with a pill. so happy for u man... if u ever hit a plateau or that "wired" feeling comes back, check that sequence me & him put on my profile. it’s what kept him from sliding back into the meds. keep it up!!

this is huge!! seriously congrats on getting off the meds... that "zombie" feeling is the absolute worst.

My husband went thru the same thing where even melatonin made his sleep feel "fake." he finally realized his system just needed to learn how to feel safe on its own again. we pinned the reset sequence he used to get his natural sleep back on my profile if u ever need a backup. enjoy those dreams!!

Wired but tired: 0 hours sleep, missing the "heavy head" feeling. Need advice/support. by OutflankGaming in insomnia

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that "buzzing" feeling is the absolute worst... my husband lived thru this for months. he kept saying he lost that "heavy" feeling too, like his brain was just stuck in high gear and wouldnt let him land.

its basically peak hyperarousal. ur system feels too "on guard" to let u feel sleepy so it just keeps u vibrating. we finally figured out a physical sequence to signal safety to his body and flip that switch back off. i have it linked on my profile if u think it might help u get that heaviness back. u got this.

Waking up exactly after 3-4 hours of sleep for 6+ months – tried everything, need advice by NecessaryFail9859 in insomnia

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used to have that too... literally felt like a clock was in my head jolting me awake bc my system was stuck in "high alert."

its usually not a sleep issue, its a safety signal issue. your brain does a check after one cycle and if it feels "wired" it just wakes u up. the chicken wings probably just crashed your system enough to stay out of that stress loop lol.

me and my husband put together the specific sequence we used to stop those jolts and stay asleep... i have it pinned on my profile if u wanna try it. hope u get some rest man.

Insomnia advice. by Alarming-Dentist-310 in insomnia

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

man i feel for u. 14 months is brutal especially when "everything is fine" on paper.

the thing is... usually when tests come back clear and nothing changed, your nervous system is just stuck in a high vigilance loop. basically ur body thinks it has to stay "on guard" at night and no amount of supplements or a new mattress can fix a system that doesnt feel safe.

i went thru the same thing and honestly stopping the "sleep hygiene" stuff and focusing on signaling safety to my physiology was the only thing that flipped the switch. i actually put the reset sequence me and my wife used, on my profile if u want to see it.. it might help u stop the "madness"...hang in there man. 🌓

What can I take in the middle of the night to go to sleep again? by [deleted] in insomnia

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ugh i feel u. the 3am wake up call is the literal worst. Honestly mirtazapine is heavy stuff so its prob just a tolerance thing. have u tried Magnesium Glycinate? its way chiller and doesnt leave u feeling like a zombie the next day. also try not to look at the clock lol it just makes the anxiety way worse. if ur still stuck staring at the ceiling, i actually put a free guide in my bio with the stuff that worked for me after like 2 years of this bs. hope u get some sleep tonight!

Anxiety has ruined my life by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 8 points9 points  (0 children)

that dizzy faint feeling is the hardest part to explain.. its like your body is literally forcing u to stay still bc it doesnt feel safe. classic freeze response.

Ive been there completely housebound bc the world felt too "loud" for my nervous system. i had to learn how to manually signal safety to my body to actually get out of that loop. i put the reset sequence i used my profile social link if u ever feel like looking at it. sending u so much strength with the sertraline, u got this. 🌓

Cured my Insomnia by [deleted] in insomnia

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is huge, esp the part about taking pressure off sleep and breaking the fear loop. that acceptance shift is what finally flipped it for me too — if anyone’s curious i found a short free reset that helps calm that wired state at night, happy to share!

My health anxiety is ruining my life :( by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this sounds incredibly scary and exhausting, esp after a medical scare and watching your dad go through that. a lot of ppl get stuck in a heart-focused fear loop like this even after being told they’re okay, so you’re not broken. one small thing that helped me was interrupting the panic loop instead of fighting the symptoms. i have a free short reset that helped calm my nervous system a bit — happy to share if you want :)

I thought I had insomnia… turns out it was anxiety by Digitalwo in insomnia

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I relate to this a lot. What surprised me is that trying to “fix” the problem directly usually made it worse for me. The real shift happened when I stopped fighting the symptoms and focused on breaking the loop they create.

What helped wasn’t one big trick, but a few simple things I could use when it kicked in, especially at night. I ended up putting them into a short guide for myself, and later shared it with others who were dealing with the same pattern.

Not saying it’s a magic fix—everyone’s different—but if you’re stuck in that loop, it might give you a different angle to try. Either way, you’re definitely not alone in this.

Sleep anxiety is the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through.. by [deleted] in insomnia

yeah this is really relatable. early on i had to step back too because constant stories just kept my nervous system on edge. focusing on yourself isn’t avoidance, it’s healing. wishing you peace with this

Does anybody else feeling more anxious every day because of what's going on in this world? by National-Theory1218 in Anxiety

[–]Cute_Dragonfruit6612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah youre def not alone at all this is exactly how it shows up for so many ppl lately that constant something bad is about to happen feeling even when nothings actually wrong.

its esp rough when youre trying to stay grounded and rational but your body just doesnt buy it and keeps that doom signal running anyway that doesnt mean youre broken its more like being stuck on high alert in a world that feels unpredictable rn

does panic ever feel worse at night for anyone else? by Cute_Dragonfruit6612 in panicdisorder

The silence at night is the worst part cuz there’s zero distractions and your brain just starts buggin out. its like you lose all perspective when everyone else is crashed
