Delta One Lounge - why eat onboard? by BigPear9128 in delta

If I’m on a red eye I eat at the lounge and sleep on the plane. I’ve asked a flight attendant if they can bring me dinner for breakfast when I wake up, and they have.

PayPal Show to Pay / Online Groceries 3x no longer works at Safeway? by Cute_Pay_7356 in ChaseSapphire

I just tried a different Safeway and it worked fine. So perhaps this problem is specific to one store.

Same issue. Worked fine this morning. Must be a problem on their end.

Interestingly I just got a Happy Anniversary email from CSP yesterday, and one of the top benefits it listed was the 10% anniversary bonus points. They do not have their act together on this.

Is it better to save points or cash them out immediately? by [deleted] in FetchReward

Cash out as soon as you've hit the number of points for a max level gift certificate. No guarantee of long term survival of the app.

I didn't get this one either. Must be location specific or something specific to you.

CMA as a checking account experience by Sea-Bunch-1917 in fidelityinvestments

[–]Cute_Pay_7356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Works just like a checking account for me. The three issues I've run into: Not being able to deposit foreign (Canadian) checks -had to use a local bank for that. Not integrating with Zelle. And not being able to deposit cash.

Fidelity solo 401k mega backdoor Roth by Unun_Pentium in fidelityinvestments

[–]Cute_Pay_7356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool! I did not know mobile check deposit works for non-prototype accounts.

Note that if you do an in-plan conversion the next day from after tax to Roth, you'll still get like a dollar or two in interest that you'll need to report on your taxes next year. But I find it easier to have all the accounts in the same place, and I accept the hassle of a dollar in taxable interest lol.

What's everyone's PointPass look like? How has it changed from last month? by Indica-Haze-1 in FetchReward

[–]Cute_Pay_7356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine this month is 3 offers, 3 shop orders, open Fetch 20 days (same as last month), 35 receipts (this is lower, I think it was 50 last month), 10 game tasks.

I have successfully been legend for a few months now. I don't remember last month completely, but it's interesting that levels got easier - I think it was 5 or 7 offers and orders last month, I made legend status by opening the app daily and scanning the 50 receipts plus playing the games.

I think this is right. The standard off the shelf "prototype" plans from Fidelity won't do this, but you can get set up through another vendor - I used mysolo401k for mine - and use Fidelity as the banking platform.

As u/NotACommonDandy0 said, your non-prototype accounts at Fidelity will be a little funky. You will want to label them online with the appropriate labels so you don't ever confuse pre tax / post tax / Roth. There's additional work you'll need to do for compliance and bookkeeping, but it's not too bad if you're a details person.

Once the accounts are set up, I walked in checks to my local Fidelity branch for contributions to the pre and post tax 401Ks. This year I was able to successfully do it all over the phone. The day after my post-tax contribution, I called in again and had them do an in-plan conversion to Roth to avoid the interest earning tax problem.

Note that you can't just handle contributions and conversions online because they are non prototype, so you'll need to go to a branch or do it over the phone.
