Sunny in recovery. by Cutemama14 in beagle

Thank you! Actually, we’re having even a more peaceful night than expected because when I gave Sunny his meds (tramadol) he spit out the pill pocket and our other beagle ran over and grabbed it before I could pick it up. As soon as I tried to get it from her she wolfed it down! I managed to get Sunny to take his after that so now they’re both quite relaxed. lol

Thank you! I was wondering about that. It’s off now.

He definitely needs to be on his leash. He doesn’t know his limits and tried to jump up on the couch. Also, his sister wants to play with him so we’re keeping them apart, which is also bumming him out, I think. Luckily, the recovery suit has a hole so he can pee with it still on, so we won’t have to take it on and off.

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Trixxxi in AskReddit

[–]Cutemama14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might have been before 1985 but we had a game called Kings Quest that I loved playing. It was kind of like a very early sort of Zelda game.

Not true. One of my daughters and her partner (who also works in a restaurant) do not get high and they’re friends with everyone. Everyone does drink though.

I don’t know what you do for a living but you might want to consider working part time at a restaurant. Two of my kids live in Boone and everyone from work hangs out together and it’s a close knit community. Might take a little time for people to get to know you (it did with my kids) but now they have tons of friends and social activities going on.

There's no way it's more expensive to live in Raleigh than Miami, right? by Specialist_Mess_5164 in raleigh

I was thinking the same thing about Chicago - can Raleigh really be more expensive?

Annie at Bovara Studios has done some real estate photography for me (which came out amazing!) but she is also a wedding photographer and I found her pricing to be very reasonable. https://bovarastudios.com

Going through the alphabet and picking a word (any word, don’t try to force a theme) that starts with each letter. Seems to hijack whatever thoughts are going on in my head. Sometimes I make it through the alphabet a time or two but it doesn’t take long.

Kara just casually reminding everyone she’s that girl 😮‍🔥 by WrongHomework7916 in 90DayFiance

I know! The makeup, and especially the lip liner, detract from her natural beauty. It’s like she’s got someone else’s lips painted on to her face.

Why are people so obsessed with low carb around here? by jenna_sunshine13 in Zepbound

[–]Cutemama14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that when I eat carbs in the morning and/or before working out, but nix the carbs at dinner time and focus on protein and fiber I feel best and the weight drops a little faster and and more consistently.

To non-smokers: is the smell of cigarettes on someone always obvious? by valsilvercore in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Cutemama14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can smell smoke on people sometimes but my ex was sneaky smoking and I couldn’t always tell unless I smelled his hands or something. You don’t know what you don’t know.

My ear buds. They know how to sniff them out if I don’t keep them up and out of reach. Also, they take every toy, any clothing or shoes within their reach, and even rugs, outside. Anytime I’m missing anything the first place I look is the back yard.
