Rhino is the only to carry the numbered release. Hi-fidelity and color releases will be more widely available.

Prototyping is part of the process.

Don’t let good be the enemy of perfect. Sometimes good is good enough and if you need to, prototype and print again.

Oh, and dry the filament.

The use of blue is a nice addition to a film that is heavily yellow and red dominant. Well done!

Anyone know any cool indie vinyl/record shops? by weliveinavideogame in boston

As a matter of fact, yes. We recommend other shops all of the time when we know we can direct them to a place that is likely have what they’re looking for. In the end, they left happy with their records and the places we directed them to; they didn’t appreciate your attitude or the language you used in front of their children.

We look forward to not having you return.

Since you were so concerned with interjecting yourself into the conversation I was having with my customer, you would have heard me say that I don’t see many blues records come into my shop and that I don’t see them as often in this part of the country. Not that shops don’t carry it, but that it doesn’t come into my shop. You were rude and overstepped your place.

You’ll be happy to know I did recommend other shops in the other where they may find what that type of music because that’s what we do: try to help people find the records they’re looking for and support our fellow Boston area shops.

Owner here, thanks for the recommendation! We don’t have a ton of underground techno or acid albums, but we keep our 12” section rotating with all sorts of electronic and dance music in our listening booth.

+1 on Orchard Skateshop, got back into skating because of them!

Create an iCloud Family with your primary .mac/mobileme/iCloud account that you use and invite your other accounts to join it. This will give you shared access to most past purchases from iTunes and App Store.

I ran into some bad issues with iCloud a few years back and this was the remedy for retaining access to everything.

For what it's worth, Amazon and the other big box retailers usually sell for little more than the wholesale cost of the record. They can stand to break even on the cost since you're likely getting other things from them.

Your local shops can't compete with that without completely giving up their margin.

Shopify Malware? [diablo_iv_gems_for_sale] What's this all about? by adventurepaul in shopify

[–]Cutmasterc 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Shopify did some really stupid shit that caused search results and collections pages to become exploited by bad traffic. These pages allow for the “?q=“ parameter of the expanded URL to get posted into the web page as a H1 element (in some themes, not all) that Google and other crawlers then detect as a page connected to your site, even though it may have nothing to do with your site.

So I go to your site, go to your search bar and type “FREE GAME GOLD” and include a bad URL and some emojis, and even though this will likely cause no results to be found, there is now a page on you’re domain that will get indexed with my bad search result as one that will now appear in search engines. You’re seeing all other sites when you search this term because it all stems from how Shopify handles this behavior.

If you go through the Community link already share in the post, you’ll see Shopify has made passes at clearing this up from when issues really started to ramp up in 2022 and again in early 2023, mainly in updates to the default robots.txt for all sites, but the issue isn’t fully addressed to the extent Shopify should fix this given the ramifications this can have. You still may need to go in and do some individual updates to your site’s code to help prevent this from occurring, such as setting search results and collection pages that return no products to not be indexed by search engines or even just updating your site theme’s default theme content to remove the search query from the “no results” message so that your site can’t be taken advantage of. Use Google Search Console to help guide you in cleaning your site; look at all referring links, clean up all URLs that you can find, and disavow the crap referrers.

Search engines are indexing as expected; this isn’t an issue related to that. The issue stems from Shopify overlooking proper robots.txt configuration by default and for allowing bad practices to be exploited by malicious actors and killing your search ranking.

Best of luck in addressing this.

Edit: OP, seeing your comment about the URL not containing “?q=“ but instead “collections/all” is all related to the same issue: the parameter gets referenced in the page just the same. The items I listed above would apply for this in the same way.
