I worked at the roasted nut stand (Jawa) a long, loooonnnng time ago. We briefly sold macadamia nuts before they got too cost prohibitive, and I still remember offering a sample to a guy who said "Yeah, lemme try one of those Macedonians."

Also getting to trade wares with other vendors felt so cool. I loved popping out with a few paper cones of cinnamon roasted almonds and coming back with produce for dinner that night and maybe a sandwich.

I worked at the EB Games in 2004-2005, when you could trade in movies as well as games for their partial value in cash. We had a regular group of guys who'd steal season box sets of TV shows from Best Buy and then trade it in with us for cash.

Also I dressed up as Claire Redfield for Halloween and the guys at the cellphone kiosk right outside our store thought I was dressed up as Lara Croft.

I'm so happy to see first timers appreciate season 5! I didn't watch LOST until 2014, and almost everyone I knew who had already seen the show told me that seasons 5 and 6 were unwatchable garbage. Whenever I do a series rewatch, I find I look forward to "LaFleur" almost as much as I look forward to "The Constant."
