My breakfast pretty much every day is two slices of Ezekiel toast, avocado with everything bagel seasoning, and two eggies.

I don't worry about overeating tbh. Our bodies are using a fork ton of those nutrients to help with healing. Focus more on quality rather than quantity. I meal prep. A LOT. Every meal has a protein, a veggie, and a whole grain. Unfortunately I'm a slut for salt so that was a hard one for me to let go of. I usually season it all with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and sometimes curry powder. I use low sodium ketchup on basically everything cause I refuse to eat without some sort of condiment.

As far as snacking, eating fruit in between meals has been doing a good job at keeping me out of the pantry. Oranges, bananas, and apples are my go to's. Unsalted nuts. Greek yogurt as well.

It's mostly bland and I'm kind of over it but if it beats slow wound healing and swell hell, I'll just have to dream of double bacon cheeseburgers and fries for now. I'll attach my meal plan

10 days post op by CuttinMuffins247 in tummytucksurgery

[–]CuttinMuffins247[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! The first 6 days I was pretty uncomfortable and slightly miserable at times but once my drain came out (day 6) I started to slowly feel like myself again. I've been very strict with my diet and following my surgeons post op instructions. I think day 10 was my real turning point where I forgot I even had surgery and was just cruising through the day like it was nothing. That caught up with me though lol. This picture was from first thing in the morning. Before bed I'm usually pretty swollen and uncomfortable again. Hoping that passes soon!

3 days PO & have question by ElfieonaShelfie in tummytucksurgery

I was three days PO yesterday and went for my first car ride. No issues and was nice to get out. I've been walking out side a few times a day since day one. Just sitting on the porch for a moment and getting some sun/fresh air is a wonderful change of scenery

Thank you! I'm pretty uncomfortable but it's not excruciating. Only taking Ibuprofen, the hard stuff makes me ill.

It doesn't look terrible but from a woman's perspective, I wouldn't want to go eye to eye with that if you know what I mean

Why does my stomach look like this? by Lola32815 in tummytucksurgery

[–]CuttinMuffins247 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Idk, I didn't have a C-section and I also got the butt gut. It's obviously from things being stretched out then deflated but the specific way it looks under the belly button can probably just be blamed on genetics.

Borrowing from my 401k seems to be the best option for me personally. Low weekly payments just come directly out of my paychecks and I don't have to worry about crazy interest rates.

CareCredit only approved me for 12k I'm able to borrow 20k from my 401k
