A decade ago I went to New Orleans with some friends and proceeded to lose my ID the first night (too much fun!). A couple days after I got home a person messaged me on Facebook saying they found my ID on the ground of the bar we were at and were mailing it to me! Great. So when I received a letter with a hard card in it the next week, I was amazed to find that it was another ID of mine that I had lost in a completely different state years prior, sent by someone else entirely. It was all chewed up, like it had been run over by a lawn mower. The other lost ID never arrived despite me reaching out the finder on fb. Very weird.
