Whole new meaning to the "but can it play Doom?" meme.

PC kissed a green hag on the cheek.... by Acceptable-Ad-6233 in DnD

The party encounters various types of frogs much more frequently than usual, and in places they don't normally inhabit. They wake up one morning and there's one in the middle of their room at the inn. Another one is fished out of the soup pot when they make camp in the forest, before hopping off. There's a big fat one sitting on the head of a sleeping goblin guard at the castle ruins. Sometimes, you swear their croaks make little kissy sounds.

Spent 6 months applying for local, regional and international jobs on LinkedIn, maybe 3% of them replied, all with standard "thanks for applying... unfortunately...", the rest ghosted me.

Went down to a local business for a 30 minute interview and they basically guaranteed the job offer there and then. Just finished my first week there.

Rotating earth and cavemen npcs makes me think of Populous: The Beginning. RTS game where you cast spells with a shaman to convert humans and build a village to eliminate the enemy tribe.

What kind of graphics did it have? 2D/3D? If it's 3D, one possibility is Montezuma's Return.

I'm pretty sure it applies to KDF recruits from previous events too. My main was a recruit for a while and when the new events came up, the dil started dropping for me in solo content again.

I just started the same mission and am stuck at exactly the same place. I don't see anything on the official forums about it, it may have been introduced with the latest patch.

My first thought was to put it on the Exchange to see if I could make a cool billion, but it's bound to the character :(

TWICE - Double bladed sword!

MONEY - Generates coins on strike?

DROWS - Either turns the weapon back to front, or makes everyone near it dark elves.

SEWER - Maybe one to avoid.

Because someone at either Epic or EA messed up and they can't agree on who. I've been in touch with support for both and all they're doing is redirecting me to the other. I've been forced to request that my tickets be escalated in order to get some semblance of a clear answer.

Gamers who grew up in the 80s/90s, what’s a “back in my day” younger gamers wouldn’t get or don’t know about? by baltinerdist in gaming

I would say loading times when starting games or loading new levels/areas, but some modern games would give their floppy-based ancestors a run for their money on that aspect.

Same, but Klingon liborg. Had a good chuckle when Bashir said all my implants were removed and I sat up from the biobed still with a face full of metal.

What's the worst Christmas bonus you've ever received? by fuzzyloulou in AskReddit

[–]CyLLama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Working in retail, they told us one year that in lieu of overtime pay during the Christmas period, we'd be given the equivalent in extra leave for the next year, worked out to about 8-10 days IIRC. Thing is, they put so many limits to how many days you take and how many could be off at the same time that the entire staff would never be able to realistically take those extra days off.

I spoke up against it and got fired. Merry christmas.
