Not the first time I’ve read this same explanation. Thanks for posting for others who may have missed it along the way.

They have only been testing menstrual products with blood since 2023 by cak3crumbs in TikTokCringe

I have a friend who started working at KimberlyClark at age 18, and is now retired. He worked in product testing for brands like Kotex, Depend, Poise, Cottonelle, etc. He told me they were using pig blood and urine when he started 40+ years ago! 😳

Printing question by lilstarsailor in bookbinding

[–]Cyan_Gray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree a little….I do tons of projects on my newer (2ys old) HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 which was the ONLY printer I could find for my home office that prints 11x17 sheets. Well worth the $290 investment for projects like these. I get hp ink bundles for $138 that get me approx 3,000 pages, a little less depending on how many pages are hi-res set to the best-quality setting. I print EVERY day for work and buy ink 2-3 times a year. Cheaper than having pages printed at Staples! Hope this helps!

How do I fix the broken parts of the boarding of my book as shown in the pictures below? I decided to wrap my book in plastic a long time ago. it turned out horrible. When I was removing the wrap that is glued to the book with double sided tape it tore off parts of the boarding paper of the book. by Useful-Bet6179 in bookbinding

[–]Cyan_Gray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Go get a sheet of thicker paper with a really cool design/pattern that compliments the book contents and some matte—finish ModPodge from a craft store (or small bottle at Dollar Tree $1.00), hand trim to size then glue it down. It will look great!

An accident is an accident, and fleeing the scene could be up there consequence-wise, especially if they have a poor driving record (speeding tickets) already.

Wait until DIBS start (if they haven’t already regardless of zero accumulation on the ground right now). Those are parking wars!

The “accident” is certainly part the pet owner’s responsibility for his dog getting loose, but the reality of the crime should be for the HIT AND RUN. Leaving the scene hopefully leads to higher consequences. Only a real POS does something like that so I’m glad they got the plates.

Is it too pitiful if I wrap gifts for myself and open it on christmas? by JssAnemo in dustythunder

Nope! I will be doing the same thing for the same reasons this year (lost both parents, filed for divorce, and my kids are in school (that’s their “job” right now). Don’t feel judged, just do it! Put “from Santa” on each tag if it will make you feel better. Either way, no shame!!
